Dorksplosion the Podcast Episode 5: Difficulty in Gaming
In this week’s episode of Dorksplosion the Podcast, we talk with Will Weldon, Asterios Kokkinos, Dan Dominguez, Zach Ames, and me, Andrew DeWitt. We cover difficulty in gaming and how it can lead to both frustration and fun.
How do you feel about difficulty in both video games and table top games? Was there ever an experience with gaming that seemed too hard to be fun or too easy?
Not a big gamer, but the folks and guests here at Dorksplosion are pretty damn funny. Give a listen.

Here’s some shots of all ten completed light boxes. The Maron light box sold on eBay over the weekend and I’m shipping it off tomorrow, so I thought I’d get a couple shots of all of them together. I’ve already begun painting the next group but I want to wait until I have at least five painted before showing them off, so expect more pictures in a couple days.
If expendable income was a thing that I had, I would totally get this.

The scene opens: There’s a man impaled… “on a spinning dildo. He’s in a straight jacket, hanging upside down. The only way he can keep the dildo lubricated is to drink Castor oil out of a large rat feeder, so he shits himself greasy to keep that dildo lubricated. Because if the dildo…

Paul F. Tompkins American Idol Recap on Lady Gaga Tutorial
They should redirect the budget for American Idol so the focus is on Paul’s recaps.
Here it is, folks. Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ and TJ Miller’s “Successful Alcoholics” starring TJ and everyone’s favorite, Lizzy Caplan. It’s hilarious, oddly touching in parts, and full of amazing actors. Most of whom you’ve seen/heard of. I’m in it for a little bit as a patrol cop with ridiculous hair. We took it to Sundance a little while back but it hasn’t been available to the public, until now.
Seriously, I know I’m biased, but if you have 25 minutes to spare at any point today or whenever, grab some popcorn and check it out.
