If you’re at home, you should definitely be watching Louie with two episodes playing back to back.

You’ll still be able to catch the second half of the game afterwards.

Adult Swim Greenlights Live-Action/Rotoscope Comedy Pilot From John Krasinski

Not only are we excited to hear that John Krasinski will be producing a comedy pilot for Adult Swim entitled Dream Corp LLC, but the idea itself sounds pretty amazing. Just from the description, there seems to be elements of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inception, and Rick and Morty that will all be put through the Adult Swim blender for this pilot.

Thus, Dream Corp LLC is yet another pilot this season we hope gets picked up just so we can all see what they came up with.

Conan O’Brien has done many great things under the umbrella of his Conaco and Team Coco outside of his late night talk show. The latest one is a comedy label that will release comedian projects such as Ian Edwards’ first comedy album 100% Half Assed.

We’re already excited for the announcement and that they’ll be releasing an album from the hilarious Ian Edwards. So, naturally we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us all.

Norm MacDonald Fans Push For #LateLateNormNorm

If you follow Norm MacDonald on Twitter (and you should), you might have noticed last night that there was a flurry of tweets and RTs of the hashtag #LateLateNormNorm (possibly started by Ben Hoffman) in a digital grassroots move to put Norm’s hat in the ring to replace Ferguson.

So far, we haven’t seen anything like that for any of the other names that have been rumored to be in the running for The Late Late Show. At this point, the gig really still could go to a wide range of folks, but it’s definitely fun to imagine Norm MacDonald hosting late night for all the times he was absolutely hysterical as a guest.

Also, that hashtag is pretty catchy.

All three of those names together, Louis C.K., Zach Galifianakis, and Jonathan Krisel, should make for one hell of a great pilot.

Michael Ian Black, Amy Schumer, John Hodgman, and More Reportedly in Running to Replace Craig Ferguson

It has been stated that CBS will not make any decision until after they upfront presentation on how will take Craig Ferguson’s place at The Late Late Show when he leaves at the end of the year.

However, Michael Ian Black, Jason Jones, Neil Patrick Harris, Aisha Tyler, John Hodgman, Joel McHale, and Amy Schumer are all in rumored to be in consideration for the job.

Given how quickly they got Colbert to replace Letterman, we’d guess that CBS will have someone chosen by the end of May.

Hopefully, they’ll hit syndication very soon.

The Onion Launching Clickhole.com To Stick It to BuzzFeed and Upworthy

Well, The Onion is laying down a new gauntlet by launching Clickhole.com to make fun of the listicles and aspirational, dramatic headlines that both Buzzfeed and Upworthy have made themselves famous for on the Internet.

Already, there’s a pretty great primer for Clickhole.com right now before it’s launch in June. We’re really curious how or if Buzzfeed and Upworthy will go toe-to-toe with them.

This means that there will currently be 9 seasons of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld. Seasons 4 and 5 have already been ordered before this announcement came through, which has us curious if Seinfeld has something big in store over the next several episodes.

Whatever it is, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee probably now stands as one of the most successful web series of all time.

Starz Orders 2 Seasons of Jonathan Ames-Seth MacFarlane Comedy ‘Blunt Talk’ Starring Patrick Stewart

Starz is slowly, but surely building up their comedy slate. Having two seasons of a live action comedy created by Jonathan Ames of Bored to Death fame and Seth MacFarlane executive producing is a good start.

An even better start is having that series star Patrick Stewart as an almost Ron Burgundy-esque character. With everything that this series, Blunt Talk, has going for it, it will be highly anticipated all the way until its 2015 premiere.

Watch Trailer for Meta Rom Com “They Came Together” with Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler

For those of you tired of the rom com genre being so repetitive that merely A-list stars take turns having roles in different locales where two “unlikely” people fall in love, then David Wain and Michael Showalter’s They Came Together starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler might just be for you.

Just watch the trailer over at Buzzfeed (in the link above) and see for yourself. They Came Together is coming out on Jun. 27th, the same day as Transformers: Age of Extinction, but we can only hope that a stereotypical rom com also comes out on the same date.

Yahoo Orders ‘Other Space’ Web Series From Paul Feig

After a decade of doing features and doing the occasional producing and directing on various TV shows, Paul Feig is getting his own show once again. This time it will be through Yahoo, though, you should note that it will still be a half hour comedy and, from the sound of it, it might be Freaks and Geeks set in another galaxy.

Look for 8 episodes of Other Space to drop later this year or early in 2015.

Craig Ferguson Leaving The Late Late Show in December

In the wake of Stephen Colbert being set to take over The Late Show from David Letterman at some point next year, Craig Ferguson has opted against any sort of renewal as a host of The Late Late Show.

There is no word on a replacement, but we think that it could really go to anyone, an idea that CBS should keep in mind, given that Ferguson was definitely a roll of the die by CBS when he took The Late Late Show from Craig Kilborn.
