Full Frontal with Samantha Bee Renewed by TBS Through 2017

Samantha Bee will be as crucial as ever to have around over the next few years.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee just got re-upped by TBS through next year and will move to Wednesdays at 10:30PM still right before Conan.

Look for the 2017 run of the show to kick off on January 11th, which should get you fired about before a certain inauguration.

The premiere of the long-awaited off-kilter caper comedy Search Party is still a couple of weeks away (Monday November 21st to be exact).

That being said, TBS was nice enough, just like they did with People of Earth, to put the full first episode on YouTube for probably the most convenient way to watch it.

So, start to see why the hell Alia Shawkat is so obsessed with finding this girl named Chantal here, then, on the premiere day, you can binge the whole first season.

If you have no parties or aren’t going trick or treating (probably because you’re an adult and it’d be most likely weird) this Halloween, you have the fortunate luck of TBS’ new alien abduction comedy People of Earth having its series premiere tonight.

Tune in at 9PM to see two episodes back-to-back.

In the meantime, here are what aliens think of Halloween.

The series premiere of the alien abduction comedy People of Earth will feature two episodes back-to-back on Halloween night at 9PM on TBS.

As such, TBS was nice enough (or savvy enough) to give the first episode to the Internet by streaming it on YouTube. Hopefully, you’ll dig it and catch the premiere on next Monday on October 31st.

Watch now, in full, free of charge, here.

Spoiler alert: people who have been abducted by aliens can be a few sticks short of a bundle.

That Tracy Morgan Series Co-Created by Jordan Peele and John Carcieri Is Going to Series at  TBS

Take a look at that TBS programming line-up again and you just might be surprised (again) with what they’ve done this year.

Originally at FX, Tracy Morgan was set to star in this comedy that would have him star as a man released from prison after serving 15 years, then have to adapt to a Brooklyn that’s much different than he remembers. FX passed on this show from Jordan Peele and Vice Principals co-executive producer and writer, John Carcieri, but TBS made a sure to get a series order before the show landed somewhere else.

Remember when the only thing that you probably watched on TBS was Conan? TBS looks like they’re doing a pretty good job in making sure that doesn’t happen again.

TBS Wants in on Aubrey Plaza’s Nightmarish Visions and Orders Pilot of Her “Nightmare Time”

TBS Wants in on Aubrey Plaza’s Nightmarish Visions and Orders Pilot of Her “Nightmare Time”

Someone who goes by @evilhag on Twitter is bound to have some really fun nightmares.

Horror comedy/horror comedy is on the rise as a genre hybrid with anything from Scream Queens to Ash vs. Evil Dead to the upcoming Stan Against Evil carving out their own niche in TV.

Since TBS went through their rebranding earlier this year, they are all in on the high concept for their scripted series. So, a horror comedy anthology series from Aubrey Plaza along with the help of writers Darcy Fowler, Kieran Valla, and Seth Kirschner sounds like a really good get for them.

Anyone else imagining Plaza narrating a scary, but absurd camp fire story?

Well, Bee didn’t disappoint. Watch, enjoy her wonderfully brutal segment, and take note, once again, of how Bee is the unfiltered voice that late night so desperately needed.

Fortunately, your cure is coming in just a few hours as a new episode of Full Frontal is coming tonight.

In preparation for this, Samantha Bee made sure could pick up where she left off…

Notorious BIG Comedy Series in Development at TBS

We’re not exactly sure what the comedic twist will be with the life and lyrics of Biggie Smalls.

Still, TBS has been on a hot streak lately and this is worth keeping an eye one, especially since it’ll be going up against another comedy based on the lives of rappers, Atlanta on FX,

‘Conan’ Returning To Comic-Con In 2017

Between the big live shows, his own custom made superhero costume, new sets of Pop Vinyl figurines every year, and getting to roam free around the convention as only Conan O’Brien does, we think this tradition should never end so long as Conan is doing his show.

Delegates That Are Still for Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz Get Highlighted on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee

Most logic has been thrown out of the window for this election year and a good majority of people seem to want to just go with their gut when picking the next leader of the free world.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee found two delegates that take that idea to the nth degree on both sides of the spectrum. One person who is still backing Ted Cruz and the other backing Bernie Sanders even though the adjectives of official and presumptive have been permanently affixed to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

It’s more fantastic work from Full Frontal. Watch it here.

You can send your thanks to AT&T for this one.

One of the most talked about late night shows these days just happens to be one of the newest ones, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Bee has been breaking down barriers on all levels with her show and doing so with joyful abandon.

Because of this, AT&T has partnered with the show to sponsor a Facebook livestream of the minutes to leading up to the actual taping. This’ll include the audience warm-up and Samantha Bee fielding questions.

Bee already pulls no punches during her show, so you probably, like us, wonder what she does off camera. Find out over here.

TBS’ latest series, Wrecked, is on deck for its series premiere at 10PM tonight.

So far, it looks like a comedic take on Lost, thought it has yet to be seen how weird the show will get for that comparison to really ring true.

In the meantime, you can watch the crash that brings all the survivors on the show together, sort of, here.

It’s rare that you see two late night hosts get really ‘inside baseball’ about their craft while on air on one of their own late night programs.

When it does happen, it’s fascinating as you’re pointed out subtle, subconscious nuances that probably contribute to why you love something like Full Frontal with Samantha Bee or Conan.

Watch Conan O’Brien, Samantha Bee, and Andy Richter do exactly that when they dish over desks in late night here.

TBS has done well with its comedy rebranding since last year and are only doubling down on the more niche and/or weird comedy that they’ve filled their current line-up with.

One of their latest endeavors is a digital short that makes up an entire biography of someone. In this case, they’ve made a pretty fun one for noted comedic actor John Candy.

Watch it here and hope that they make a few more of these.
