Finally, It’s Time for the Return of the Chaos at The Eric Andre Show (Season 6 Trailer)

May 3, 2023
News
adult swim, eric andre, season 6, the eric andre show, trailer

Almost three years is probably a good enough time (especially considering that most of those are pandemic years) for a reset for the chaos driven satire of a late night talk show that is The Eric Andre Show. Season 5 premiered in Fall of 2020 and real life, for awhile, outdid the insanity of Andre and co. and his demolishing of desks (amongst several other things) and next month is when season 6 of The Eric Andre Show is set to premiere.

For such an extreme prankster, there does need to be a good amount of time before Eric can strike again, especially when it comes to having celebrities guests. Andre himself admits, “Expect more deranged pranks, fire, and chaos in Season 666 with jam-packed schedule of celebrities I can’t believe agreed to do this.” Such folks, for this round, include Natasha Lyonne, Lil Nas X, Jon Hamm, Meagan Good, Tinashe, Felipe Esparza, and Rico Nasty.

Get a taste of the unbridled mayhem once more with this very first official season 6 trailer season here. Then, prepare yourself for the return of Eric Andre to Adult Swim on Sun. Jun. 4th at midnight.

Watch BoJack Horseman’s Final Season Trailer

We can still remember people’s astonishment at the first tonal shift in the first season of Raphael Bob-Waksberg’s BoJack Horseman. It took so many people by surprise and then encouraged to beg people to watch all of the first season without revealing too much.

In the years since, BoJack Horseman continued to be one of the most innovative, hysterical, gratifying, and artful shows on TV, constantly reinventing itself and, if you think about it, never having a standard or typical episode.

If anything is to be expected, it’s that Raphael has a season worth of more surprises that are as funny as they are heart wrenching and this trailer for the sixth and final season of BoJack Horseman certainly backs up that notion.

Watch the Season 6 BoJack Horseman trailer here, then set a reminder for Oct. 25th and Jan. 31st as the premiere dates for both halves of this final season.

Even though the word “drunk” is in the name, Drunk History is a well oiled machine going into its sixth season on Comedy Central.

A cavalcade of funny people get wasted and try to recount an important person and/or event in history, then a lip-synched, word-for-word reenactment is attempted. Creator Derek Waters and company been magic since Drunk History’s early days on Funny or Die and, as this trailer shows, continues on into 2019.

Look for the season 6 premiere of Drunk History on Tues., Jan. 15th at 10PM on Comedy Central.

Here’s the Trailer for the Final Season of Girls

Both Girls and Lena Dunham have come a very long way in socio-political significance. Its stamp on pop culture, whether you love or hate the show (or watch a myriad of other TV series in this 21st Century Golden Age of Television), is pretty undeniable.

The sixth and final season of Girls is about to kick off in a year where visibility for women in media will be as important as it has ever been.

The trailer just dropped and seems to offer the set up for what will be some satisfying closure to the show and its characters. Maybe, that will make for an unforgettable send off of Girls?

We’ll see if that happens when the final season premieres on February 12th at Sunday, 10PM on HBO.

HBO and Lena Dunham Agree to End “Girls” After Season 6

(via Deadline)

It’s interesting to see that 9-10 seasons was sort of a goal for sitcoms in the 90s and, in this millennium, 6 seasons is the now the benchmark for a landmark series.

Lena Dunham has got so many other things going that we’re not even aware of the full scope of what she’s working on. On top of Girls, she’s got a career as an author, movies, Lenny Letter, cameos on other shows like Scandal,

So, knowing that and knowing the journey that Hannah Horvath and company have gone through over the last few years makes it seem just about right that Dunham and HBO are coming in for a final landing on the series.

Don’t start getting remiss and teary eyed quite yet as season five hasn’t even premiered yet.

More specifically, all you have to do is wait until Mar. 17th when Yahoo Screen will release two episodes, then one per week after that.

Though, the cast and creator “thinks” you should already know that by now.

With Community’s return for a season 6 on Yahoo being only a couple of months away, there’s only more anticipation building over the series that has defied expectations at every turn.

On top of the miracle that was pulled off by making it to its sixth season (and hopefully a movie), Community has added two new cast members in Paget Brewster, who we’d hope you be familiar with from a guest role in Community as well as her regular role in The Thrilling Adventure Hour, and Keith David who has been in a vast myriad of things, but we’ll never forget for his disturbing role in Requiem For a Dream.

We’re into this additions especially since Yvette Nicole Brown has left Community.
