Looks like the Inner Sanctum at UCB Sunset (which we’d like to note can feel more intimate than the main stage next door at times) is having more stacked shows these days.

Presented by UCB co-founder Matt Walsh, Dodo’s Retirement Party will be a variety show as well as a tribute to “Dolores (Dodo) Portencasso” as she retires from “Corn Products”. Oh yeah, the line-up just happens to be, as we mentioned before, pretty damn stacked (see flyer above).

Tickets for this show next week are $12 and you can (and should) get them here.

Even though the word “drunk” is in the name, Drunk History is a well oiled machine going into its sixth season on Comedy Central.

A cavalcade of funny people get wasted and try to recount an important person and/or event in history, then a lip-synched, word-for-word reenactment is attempted. Creator Derek Waters and company been magic since Drunk History’s early days on Funny or Die and, as this trailer shows, continues on into 2019.

Look for the season 6 premiere of Drunk History on Tues., Jan. 15th at 10PM on Comedy Central.

Rich Fulcher Narrates Bobby Fischer vs. Boris Spassky for “Drunk History”

The story of chess prodigy Bobby Fischer playing against Russian chess champion Boris Spassky is already incredulous without embellishment, especially the type coming from a person who is under the influence of some substance.

So, it only stands to reason that a silly, drunk Rich Fulcher would tell one of the best versions of the story accompanied by Taran Killam as Bobby Fischer and Jake Johnson as Boris Spassky while he seems like one of the drunker narrators that has been on Drunk History. This should serve as a great appetizer or dessert for watching Pawn Sacrifice.

Watch how Fischer beat the Russian chess grandmaster as well as how Rich made it through the story.

If you’ve both sincerely wondered what it would be like if high fives never existed and if sneezing would be racist, then quickly laughed it off because you were probably high, do yourself a favor and watch the latest episodes of Rich Fulcher’s Comedy Central web series Questionable Science.

Even if you don’t ponder such questions, it’s pretty damn funny to watch Fulcher ponder high five alternatives and actually entertaining racist sneezing as a thing. with a team including Jennie Pierson, Steve Agee, Pat Regan, Myke Wright, and more.

Also, be sure to check the credits. You won’t regret it.

Rich Fulcher is the host of Comedy Central’s latest web series Questionable Science that sure does live up to its name.

They can’t even consider it fringe or pseudo science as Fulcher seems to have another goal in mind with his “queries”.

Watch as he answers(?) questions stoners would ask in the first episode of Questionable Science here.

Comedy Central’s digital arm CC:Studios has been on a streak and with the announcement of their latest development slate, it seems like they will definitely continue said streak.

They’re renewing the fantastic New Timers web series from Good Cop Great Cop as well as putting five new projects into development from the likes of Matt Braunger, Sean O’Connor, Rich Fulcher, David Angelo, and Broken People (Taylor Orci and Jared Nigro).

The premises of Braunger being the last white guy in LA, a Vine celebrity attempting to adapt his videos into a book from Sean O’Connor, Fulcher as a high school teacher, David Angelo being David Angelo, and more of Broken People are all things we’re on board for.

The release of Megan Amram’s science “textbook”, Science… For Her!, is less than a month away at Nov. 4th, so Amram enlisted the help of Nick Offerman, Steve Agee, and Rich Fulcher, director Payman Benz, and a parody of Olivia Newton John’s Let’s Get Physical to promote the book.

The result? It’s Let’s Get Physics Y’all with a perfect exhibition of all the, shall we say, manliness of Offerman/Agee/Fulcher on display. Pre-order Science… For Her!, as you know you’ll want to after watching, here.

Drunk History enlisted the drunk storytelling skills of Dave Ross and Steve Berg to tell the amazing stories of the anti-segregation Judge Waties Waring and how Citizen Kane was made, respectively.

The reenactments bleeding into the drunkenness of the storyteller along with Rich Fulcher as Waring and Jack Black as Orson Welles are priceless in these clips.
