Those are the 14 names that will get to do a half hour Comedy Central special that will be now called “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents” later this Fall. If you take a closer look, this might be CC’s best, most diverse half-hour line-up yet (i.e. it’s mostly fantastic comics that aren’t straight white guys)
Kind of harkens back to the days of when Comedy Central had “Comedy Central Presents”, doesn’t it?
The tapings will take place next month, Wednesday, April 19th-Saturday, April 22nd, in New Orleans at The Civic Theatre. You can get free tickets here.

A new weekly show is starting up between Thai Town and Little Armenia at the Urban Social House by a great bunch of Will Weldon, Casey Ley, Alison Stevenson, and Katie Felber.
Called “Fine. A Comedy Show”, the inaugural edition kicks off Tuesday, February 21st at 8:30PM with a robust line-up including Tim Dillon who is in town from NYC and Scotland’s Katia Kvinge.

The regularly scheduled Comedians You Should Know is bringing a very special edition of their show next week on Thursday, February 23rd at 10PM at The Hollywood Improv Lab. As the name suggests, these are all gay comedians from around LA that you absolutely should know and go see perform on a regular basis.
