Mitch Hurwitz Inks Multi-Year Deal With Netflix For New Series

Netflix is making sure to keep Mitch Hurwitz, creator of Arrested Development, around and went ahead and gave him a big multi-year development deal. Hurwitz will be focusing on developing new series and consulting in general with Netflix on other comedy series. 

On reading this, we’re all highly anticipating whatever Hurwitz is coming up with, which might be worth the newbie Netflix price hike.

Bill Burr, Aziz Ansari, Marc Maron, Chris Hardwick @midnight, Aisha Tyler, and more will be at Nashville’s very first Wild West Comedy Festival from May 15th-18th. In addition to a nice line-up of top-billed acts, this festival surely has some surprises in store as Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Productions, Bud Light, and Netflix are all in cahoots for what is sure to be a great inaugural weekend for this Wild West Comedy Festival.

Tickets are now on sale if you’re planning on going, which you should be if you’re anywhere near Nashville in the middle of May.
