The passing of Kevin Barnett came out of nowhere and was a shock to family, friends, and fans alike. As such, a gigantic, stupendous benefit (as you can see in the flyer above) for Kevin’s family will be held this coming Tuesday at the Echoplex.

Tickets are only $10 and all proceeds will be going to Kevin’s family. Go get them here before they probably sell out.

Also, you can support Kevin’s GoFundMe too.

Bird Luger Forever.

Well, NYC’s renowned Las Culturistas podcast, hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang,  is finally coming to LA to do a round of their beloved I Don’t Think So, Honey! next month.

For the uninitiated, 50 comedians (you can see above that they’ve assembled many of LA’s best) will get to fiercely rant for one minute on anything in culture kicked off by the eponymous phrase “I don’t think so honey”. Arguably, it raises sh*t-talking to an art form. Do yourself a favor and listen to the live episodes that they’ve done in the NYC in the Las Culturistas archives.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. We highly recommend to go get them here ASAP.

On top of top notch FREE comedy, FREE mandatory holiday gift pens, there will be a PRIZE GIVEAWAY that includes 2 tickets to a future show at the Echoplex, a music gift bundle w/posters/CDs/vinyl, a TCB sticker, enamel pin, and our album Comedians of Interest Vol. 1.

To win, all you have to do is write a “suggestion for what to improve on in 2018″ (as you would at your day job) and place it into a “suggestion box” that we’ll have out before the show. The best suggestion wins it all.

ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, you can get your recommended dose of dancing thanks to Ricky Carmona who will be “spinning tunes” following the show.

Really, we can’t think of anymore that to offer up you to make sure you go this “mandatory” event.

All you have to do is RSVP here.

Our Mandatory Holiday Office Party Is Now FREE and Will Come with FREE Mandatory Holiday Gift Pens

In order to be a more benevolent benevolent bureau, we’ve decided to make our MANDATORY HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTY a free event, which means you have zero excuses for not fulfilling your mandatory attendance.

Also, there will be free gift pens as you can see below (while supplies last-though we did order hundreds of them) for all of your hard work this year!

All you have to do is RSVP here and then come and have a good time (because you’re required to do so).

We’ve got shows coming up and you should come to them.

Well, actually, it’s MANDATORY that you attend one of them (though, we promise it will be “fun”).

The other has free Prufrock Pizza and a nice, neat handful of our favorite performers. Also, it’s FREE.

We’re serious when we say that you should go to both our Mandatory Holiday Office Party at The Echoplex 12/12 and Water Cooler Talk at The Love Song Bar 12/5.

It is the holidays. As such, we will be marking the occasion, with no particular favoritism towards any specific holiday, for all The Comedy Bureau faithful.

So, Deep Eddy Vodka, DoLA and TCB present a MANDATORY HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTY full of non-denominational, non-partisan “fun”. You will look forward to enjoying performances by Rory Scovel, Kyle Kinane, Andrés du Bouchet, Jamie Loftus, The Wheel Show, and TCB’s own Jake Kroeger.

*We also have required for this event to have free popcorn

Deep Eddy Vodka will be presenting a curated menu of cocktails to ensure a “good time” will be had.

Your attendance at the Mandatory Holiday Office Party at The Echoplex will be expected on Tuesday, December 12th with doors opening at 8PM and the show starting at 9PM.

Tickets are only $5 and you can (and need to) get them here.
