Conan O’Brien Will Be Going on Tour Again with His Favorite Comedians (and Also Giving Investment Tips?)

The last time Conan O’Brien went on a live tour was almost a decade ago (and right before he moved to TBS). Such a different and far off time, right?

Anyhow, Conan is going out on tour yet again all across country along with Rory Scovel, Ron Funches, Deon Cole, Laurie Kilmartin, Marina Franklin, Taylor Tomlinson, Moses Storm, Flula Borg, and more as well as, per the tour’s name, giving out hot stock tips, apparently.

Conan breaking down the stock market alone is a good enough reason to get tickets, which go on sale this Friday, Sept. 28th, on this 18 city tour that goes from Nov. 2nd-Dec. 15th. You can snag them later this week at: http://teamcoco.com/tour

Watch The Cooties Debut Their Beautiful Harmonies in Their Silly Songs on Conan

It’s been years now since we’ve first enjoyed the sweet voices of The Cooties singing ridiculously fun lyrics at Nerdmelt in the back of Meltdown Comics.

Since then, we’ve been hoping that they’d get on bigger stages to share their gifts for melodic mischief with the world and, indeed, that happened last night.

So, please enjoy their performance of “Maybe That’s God” on Conan here.

*we’re going to guess that Conan jokingly asks for an apology because of that f-bomb that got censored.

Emmy Blotnick’s latest late night set shows, yet again, just how damn charming she is and a great idea for The Rock to save the world in a different way than he does in all his movies.

Andrés du Bouchet’s Boliviguay Apparently Has a Bigger Comic-Con Than SDCC

One of our favorite Andrés du Bouchet characters on Conan makes another appearance just to say that the “very real” country of Boliviguay not only has their own Comic-Con, but one that rivals the biggest one in the world, the San Diego Comic-Con (AKA THE Comic-Con).

Watch and enjoy every little detail here. You might have to watch it repeatedly to savor all of it.

Leave it to the always charming Nore Davis to showcase the follies of toxic masculinity and how it keeps men from enjoying many of life’s simple pleasures and crush it during his set on Conan.

It’s a set worth watching more than once. Do so here.

Tig Notaro Reveals That She Sold Film “First Ladies” Starring Jennifer Aniston and Her Before Any of the Movie Was Written

Basically, First Ladies will be a movie that stars Jennifer Aniston as the first female POTUS with Tig Notaro as her FLOTUS.

That’s pretty much all we need to be on board for this movie that was sold to Netflix and has Will Ferrell attached. Apparently, that’s all that everyone involved needed to hop on board as well.

Here’s Tig explaining what might be one of the easiest and well received movie pitches of all time on Conan.

Adam Pally Let’s Chaos Reign Yet Again on Conan as “Snaredevil”(?)

In case you don’t know, Adam Pally is one of the 2010s best late night guests because he sets himself up for a hot, hot mess as opposed to a typical mildly entertaining story that most guests tell during panel interviews. We know that we posted about Most Likely to Murder just a few hours ago, but we couldn’t resist putting this up today too because it indeed so amazingly “off-the-rails”.

Without any further ado (or any sort of explanation), enjoy Pally’s latest performance here.

Harrison Greenbaum has done so much in comedy so well that you’d be more than pleasantly surprised to see this his first stand-up set on late night.

Also, you’ll learn quite a bit “personal lightning strikes”, which will probably reframe how you think about getting hit by lightning forever.

Just from his face, you can see a certain unbridled spirit in the comedy of Joe Machi that keeps a smile on our face between laughs. You might not even notice that Joe’s well crafted jokes get at the complexity of the human experience because there’s such a bubbly energy to his set.

Unquestionably, one of the best parts of Love on Netflix is Bertie played fantastically by Claudia O’Doherty.

As the series is coming to close, O’Doherty, during her Conan appearance this week, “revealed” that she’s looking for work and can do more than just be a expertly silly Aussie that has a particular talent for not breaking character.

Really, more Claudia O’Doherty in the world is just a good thing. Watch this bit here.

Mary Mack may sound as midwestern as you possibly imagine a person can sound like, but there’s an undertone of innocent mischief in all of her stories and jokes that we find endlessly charming. “Folk humorist” is what her bio describes her as and we couldn’t help but further that notion.

In 2018, Conan O’Brien still keeps steady with the carrying the late night stand-up torch by not only frequently featuring comedians at the end of an episode, but highlighting acts that are more than ready for their first late night appearance.

Earlier this week, we all got to enjoy the delightful Debra DiGiovanni and last night, Alex Edelman, an internationally acclaimed American comedian, got to put his best foot forward on late night for the very first time on Conan.

See the sharp comedic stylings that has brough Edelman through this very circuitous route here.

One of Canadian’s best exports to the United States, in our humble opinion, is, without a doubt, Debra DiGiovanni. While she wildly popular in Canada, she is now making headway stateside having made her way through a few rounds of Last Comic Standing and, as of last night, had her American late night debut on Conan.

Please watch and enjoy Debra like we’ve had the pleasure of doing so over the last couple of years.

–@conanobrien

Conan O’Brien’s Conan Without Borders has developed from what used to be a special out-of-the-studio part of Conan into a full-fledged goodwill initiative. With Trump as POTUS, there’s plenty to do in that regard and it looks like O’Brien will be starting off 2018 by going to a country that Trump referred to as a “sh*thole country” when discussing immigration reform with lawmakers.

So, we can’t wait to see what Team Coco comes up with in hopping around the world this year.

Jack Black Confirms That a Tenacious D Post-Apocalyptic Rock Opera Is in the Works

While on Conan, Jack Black confirmed that Jables and KG will return in the not so distant future with a Tenacious D comedy rock opera. After some considerable time off and a foray into jazz, it’s about time for a new hour or so of Tenacious D.

Black didn’t give up too many details, but just the notion that it’s underway should be exciting enough.

As it is “post-apocalyptic rock opera”, it should also be the perfect soundtrack for our time.
