Cameron Esposito Recording Second Album for Kill Rock Stars in Portland
In case you’re not aware, Kill Rock Stars has been racking up a nice roster of comedians as of late. Comedy albums have come through Kill Rock Stars from Kurt Braunohler and Hari Kondabolu, and now, one will come from the wonderful Cameron Esposito.
She records her next album, May 30th at Mississippi Studios.

Kill Rock Stars has just come out with their second comedy album release in Hari Kondabolu’s Waiting For 2042, which makes it, for us, two in a row of smart comedy releases.

Eddie Pepitone’s “A Great Stillness” Coming Out on Vinyl
One of the best comedy albums to be released in 2011 was Eddie Pepitone’s sophomore album A Great Stillness. It really did capture how great it is to see Eddie live and how his performances are one-of-a-kind, brilliant, brash, and, most importantly hysterical.
Stand Up! Records remastered the album and is releasing this great, important piece of comedy on vinyl next week on Feb. 25th. You can pre-over at the link above.
Andy Sandford’s First Solo Comedy Album “me the whole time” Coming Out Next Week
Andy Sandford, once part of the great comedy quartet known as The Beards of Comedy, is now releasing his very first comedy album me the whole time on Feb. 25th.
Just on the merit of him having a masterful meta “Who’s on first” joke, you should pick this album up, but know that Andy is consistently hilarious and sharp the whole way through every we time we see him.

The absolutely hysterical Karen Kilgariff has her album Live at the Bootleg coming out this month, specifically Feb. 25th, everyone and that should make up for Valentine’s Day going bad if it indeed goes bad.

The very funny Joe Zimmerman was once part of a very funny quartet of comedians known as The Beards of Comedy (Andy Sandford, Dave Stone, TJ Young were the others that you should probably check out too).
The smart, clever, and subtly whimsical Zimmerman is now releasing his first solo album Smiling at Wolves, which, just off of hearing his Andrew Jackson joke alone, you should buy and listen to on repeat.

Cameron Esposito Recording Debut Comedy Album for AST Records
As far as we’re concerned, it’s definitely time for a comedy album from the fantastic Cameron Esposito. Thank goodness the universe/ether/whatever has listened to our wish and AST Records is recording her debut comedy album at The Laughing Skull in Atlanta, GA next week.

Karen Kilgariff’s Live at the Bootleg Out in February 2014
The amazing Karen Kilgariff recorded her comedy album this year and we’ve been patiently awaiting any details about its release because you guys have no idea for what a great album you’re in store for.
Thankfully, it’s just been announced that Kilgariff’s Live at the Bootleg will be released on Feb. 4, 2014. Look Karen up on YouTube and get obsessed until then.

Being able to be dark, funny, and a talented musician is no easy feat, especially doing so as sort of character for an entire album.

People called Louis C.K. crazy for doing a special a year, but somehow, some way Shillue put 12 albums worth of stories out for us all with the last one coming out today in Don’t Force It
