Twitter Is Officially Introducing an Edit Button, So Long as You Subscribe to Twitter Blue

September 2, 2022
News
twitter

(via Wired)

It is the penchant of many a comedian to fire off a blaze of tweets representative of a rant or fire back at all replies under the same duress as playing Space Invaders. The from-the-hip nature of Twitter lends itself naturally to errors, whether they be grammatical or contextual or simply just poorly thought out, and it has sure gotten plenty of comedians in varying degrees of hot water.

A newly announced “Edit Button” for the microblogging giant will be some sort of partial solution, though it’s partial due to a handful of very big caveats. Firstly, you’ll have to subscribe to Twitter’s exclusive subscription service, Twitter Blue, which you very well might be finding out about now. Secondly, you’ll only have 30 minutes from posting the tweet into your timeline to fix it and, lastly, there will be transparency as to what tweets have been altered.

Such parameters don’t offer too much relief for those going back several years through their tweets worried that a persnickety someone might want to dig up something problematic over a decade ago. Still, you could always delete such tweets or, perhaps, be a little more thoughtful while posting on Twitter as a remedy to that issue.

Perhaps, one day, the feature will be offered standard for all Twitter users and maybe bolster a return to Twitter where many have left to have their only social media engagement be Instagram or Tik Tok. Whether this will signal a renewed interest in Twitter or what sort of ripple effect it’ll have on the Internet has yet to be seen.

That said, we’re sure the Internet will find a way to find what you tweeted first after you edited it and, in that case, we can only hope that it’s just a less funny punch line or tag.

Pick of the Day: Don’t Break (in LA) 9/10

September 2, 2022
News
danny catlow, david brown, experimental comedy, los angeles comedy, the elysian

One of the hardest comedic skills to master is not breaking, laughing, giggling, snickering while on stage at someone else’s bit or your very own. For almost everyone, it’s such a hard feat that there are many SNL sketches that are pretty much just seeing when everyone in the scene will break and how hard they’ll do it.

That’s why Danny Catlow and David Brown are making a whole game show out of it, pitting comedians against each other to see who can commit to whatever is happening on stage the longest. Called DON’T BREAK, a $200 prize is on the line for 10 comedians.

For what will be an initial test run of DON’T BREAK, Brown and Catlow have recruited fierce competitors in:

  • Kate O’Connor
  • Izzy Gerasole
  • Scott Egleston
  • Anna Seregina
  • Luke Taylor
  • Camirin Farmer
  • Wyatt Fair
  • Carly Kane
  • Kendra Uncut
  • Kat Toledo

Oh, this will be a FREE rehearsal of what’s sure to be unhinged fun on Sat. Sept. 10th at 2PM PT at The Elysian.

Pick of the Day: Last Podcast on the Left: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again Tour (in NYC) 9/22

News
beacon theatre, ben kissel, henry zebrowski, last podcast on the left, marcus parks

Starting in 2021, The Last Podcast on the Left boys announced a big worldwide tour spanning dozens and dozens of cities over several months. Unfortunately, one of the hosts contracted COVID-19 and forced several dates having to be rescheduled. One of those dates were some of the biggest shows of their so called Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again Tour at NYC’s renowned Beacon Theatre.

Thankfully, the rescheduled date for one of the best comedy podcasts to ever cover all horrors, both real and imagined, is coming up very soon. Specifically, their Beacon Theatre date is in three weeks on Thurs. Sept. 22nd at 8PM. Believe it or not, there are still tickets available and you really ought to snag them here starting at $54 before they inevitably sell out.

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 127: Brett Davis & The Slow Burn

August 31, 2022
News, The Comedy Bureau Field Report
brett davis, chris rock, jfl, little secret, meta

One of the great things about comedy in LA is that there is literal space to create your own niche and do what you want. Brett Davis is exemplifying this with the ultra underground venue he co-runs, Little Secret, and his dedication to experimenting with slow burning bits and characters, almost exclusively. Davis breaks down his philosophy on doing such characters on stage as well as being DIY with, well, everything he does with TCB’s Jake Kroeger.

Also, “hot” takes on Chris Rock not hosting next year’s Oscars, JFL going to the metaverse, and more.

Pick of the Day: Absolutely Thriving: It’s Been a Year Already?! (in NYC) 9/13

August 31, 2022
News
absolutely thriving, brooklyn, Dylan Adler, glennis laroe, jay jurden, Marcia Belsky, molly ruben long, nyc comedy, sabrina wu, union hall

In a time that’s rife full of turnover and upheaval, it’s a wonder how any comedy show that started a year ago is still going, especially in the crowded in NYC comedy scene that seems back to its 2019 pace.

So, why not join in and celebrating Glennis LaRoe and Molly Ruben-Long’s one year anniversary of their splendid monthly Brooklyn show Absolutely Thriving come next month? Lasting a year should be proof positive that they’re actually thriving (on top of having a lot of Brooklyn’s best line-ups whenever it was happening).

So, they’re going to celebrate proper and do their year anniversary at one third of Brooklyn’s holy comedy trinity, Union Hall (the other two being Littlefield and The Bell House) with a properly stellar line-up of Dylan Adler, Jay Jurden, Sabrina Wu, and Marcia Belsky on Tues. Sept. 13th at 7:30PM.

Tickets are only $12 and you can (and should) go get them here.

Pick of the Day: Catalina Comedy Island (near LA) 9/9 & 9/10

August 30, 2022
News
catalina comedy island, catalina island, dave attell, los angeles comedy, michelle wolf, stand up comedy

As Labor Day weekend is just around the corner, you might be thinking to yourself that a long weekend isn’t enough a break that you so desperately need as this current slow apocalypse keeps oozing along.

Maybe you need two of them?

Certainly, that would allow you, if you’re in and around LA, to go to Catalina Island’s first Catalina Comedy Island, a weekend long mini comedy festival that allows you to take in being in the Pacific Ocean without being too far from Los Angeles.

Running on Fri. Sept. 9th and Sept. 10th at the Catalina Island Casino, you can take your pick of Bumping Mics with Dave Attell, Jeff Ross, and Michelle Wolf OR Dana Carvey & sons or watch both. Tickets for either show start at $85, but you can get 10% off with promo code “BUREAU10”.

Ian Karmel Thanks Folks for Wedding Presents While Doing a Tight Late Night Set on Weddings

August 30, 2022
News
ian karmel, james corden, late late show, late night, stand up comedy

Ian Karmel is such an integral part of The Late Late Show and a force on the podcast he co-hosts, All Fantasy Everything, that you might need a reminder that Karmel is quite the hysterical stand-up comedian. That’s actually the thing that got him to elevated station he’s at now and he hasn’t lost a step while being one of the funniest co-hosts on TV and in your headphones.

This latest late night set from him on last night’s Corden is proof positive. Karmel does one of the best sets on weddings, perfectly observed and written bits sandwiched in between legitimate expressions of gratitude for wedding gifts he has received before his wedding this week.

Please enjoy his set here and make sure you take every chance you can to see Ian live.

Pick of the Day: Touched by Jet Eveleth (in LA) 9/24

August 29, 2022
News
clowning, jet eveleth, los angeles comedy, solo show

When it comes to clowning in LA, Jet Eveleth, along with all of her work with Clown Church and the Highland Park Clowns, is one of the central figures that you really ought to follow obsessively. Eveleth’s vulnerability and cleverness in her clowning performances simultaneously connects with the audience’s humanity, but still revels in delightful chaos.

So, with that in mind, you really ought to catch her solo show, Touched by Jet Eveleth, at the end of next month in LA’s newly minted experimental comedy theater, Public Displays of Altadena. It’s set for Sat. Sept. 24th at 7PM. Tickets are only $10. All proceeds will go to the theater.

Altadena might not be close to where you’re at in LA, but trust that Jet is always worth the drive.

Pick of the Day: Lance Bangs Screens Recent & Archival Footage (in LA) 9/3

August 26, 2022
News
brain dead studios, fred armisen, lance bangs, los angeles comedy, natalie palamides

From Moses Storm‘s critically acclaimed debut special to Jackass to a music video made especially for the late George Harrison, there are seemingly so few things that Lance Bangs hasn’t done with some kind of motion picture camera. That said, there is so much in Lance’s archives that’s worthy of having its own exhibition in some sort of contemporary art museum that the general public haven’t ever come close to seeing.

That’s why it’s important to absolutely be in attendance whenever Lance does his every-once-in-awhile screenings where he shows a specially curated selection from his own personal archives, which, thankfully will be happening Sat. Sept. 3rd at 7:30PM at Brain Dead Studios on Fairfax in LA.

As if that wasn’t special enough, Lance will present special performances from Fred Armisen and Natalie Palamides, music from Britt Walford (Slint, The Breeders) David Pajo (Slint, Gang of Four) Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Head Wound City) Mike Watt (Minutemen, Dos, Firehose) and other special guests (as well as DJ sets by Chris Holmes, SAM i, and friends).

Tickets for all of this are $25 and you really ought to snag them here before they sell out.

Pick of the Day: Nick Youssef’s First Special Taping (in NYC) 9/27

August 25, 2022
News
live taping, manhattan, nick youssef, nyc comedy, stand up comedy, west village, zinc bar

Stand-up comedy is pretty much back on pace with where it was in 2019, which means there are plenty of live tapings for specials and albums for you to attend. In fact, there are so many that you’ve very likely to choose which ones you ought to make it out to.

In NYC, you really ought to not miss Nick Youssef taping anything, much less his very first special, even much more less a special being taped at an extremely swanky spot in the West Village. Youssef was a stalwart part of LA’s scene for the longest time and has very impressively carved the same spot for himself in NYC’s even more crowded field of comics.

Following a handful of very good albums, Nick is indeed doing his very first comedy special, completely crowdfunded, on Tues. Sept. 27th at what is normally a very classy jazz bar, Zinc Bar, which should be the added bonus of seeing Youssef present his finely carved, astutely observed comedy wares.

There will be two tapings, 8PM & 10PM, and tickets are $25 and you can (and should) go get them here right now.

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 126: Blake Rosier & Uncharted Territories

blake rosier, experimental comedy

No matter the art form, the folks who push boundaries and blaze trails are a rare breed. That’s why we were thrilled to get into the big comedy swings that one Blake Rosier has made a name for himself by taking. Whether it’s living on stage for 5 days or creating an entire live show in an afternoon with someone he finds on Craigslist, Rosier’s imagination and commitment seems drawn to unexplored reaches of comedy and Blake has honed a way to make that thoroughly engrossing and funny no matter what happens. We talk with him about what exactly goes into his wild ideas and executing them and just how he got to daring himself to push the fringes of comedy further and further.

Pick of the Day: Rainbow Fish (in LA) 8/31

August 24, 2022
News
Carly Kane, grace kinter, jenson titus, joella perry, lando chill, nori reed

The Eastside of Los Angeles is already a treasure trove of indie comedy shows. A lot of that has to do with the neighborhoods of Highland Park to Los Feliz being considered some of the city’s cooler neighborhoods and the fact that so many comedians actually reside in that part of LA county.

Thus, Highland Park and anyone around those parts are getting one more comedy/variety show you shouldn’t miss. Rainbow Fish @ The Goldfish will not only give you LA’s best comedians, but give you some wondrous drag, and music to boot thanks to the delightful Eastside denizen and a somewhat newer, but still amazing addition to the LA comedy scene, Carly Kane.

This inaugural edition will feature:

Music From Grace Kinter & Lando Chill
Comedy From Nori Reed, Jenson Titus & Carly Kane
Drag From Joella Perry

If you don’t want welcoming a new show into LA, mark down Wed. Aug. 31st, 7:30PM and go get your tickets for $11.33 right here right now.

Pick of the Day: Matt Rogers Special Taping (in NYC) 8/27

August 23, 2022
News
have you heard of christmas, joe's pub, matt rogers, nyc comedy, taping

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Matt Rogers‘ taping for his musical comedy special Have You Heard of Christmas?, accompanied by musical comedy wizard Henry Koperski, at Joe’s Pub is sold out (that includes the rehearsal from this past weekend). Rogers’ repertoire of holiday music might be the most fun holiday comedy numbers we’ve ever heard (and one of the only things we look forward to during the holidays for years now).

That said, life happens and, sometimes, tickets get released and you still get a chance to catch this Saturday’s tapings, 7PM and 9:30PM, at the legendary NYC venue, Joe’s Pub, in person. You’ll just have to obsessively check this page or @mattrogerstho on IG to see when they’re released because seeing this live will likely best any present you actually get in December.

Get Your First Look at Sheng Wang’s First Hour Special “Sweet and Juicy” (That’s Also Ali Wong’s First Time Directing)

August 22, 2022
News
ali wong, netflix, sheng wang, stand up comedy

An hour special from Sheng Wang is long, long overdue. A slow burn comedic style that still hits so hard with great punchlines, specifically pitch perfect diction and delivery is very hard to pull off and, consequently, a rarity these days.

Sheng Wang makes such a feat seem so effortless as his deep, reassuring voice makes some of the most precise writing in all of comedy feel buttery. Certainly, the world will get treated to such delights come Tues. Sept. 6th when Sheng’s first hour special, Sweet and Juicy, debuts on Netflix. As a bonus, you’ll get to see Ali Wong’s directorial debut as she is at the helm for this hour special for the very first time.

Get your first taste of all of this in the trailer, which is, thankfully, just one complete joke that you can savor and then get hooked on.

Pick of the Day: Late Late Breakfast (in LA) 8/29

August 22, 2022
News
bailey norton, brodie reed, Carly Kane, curtis cook, experimental comedy, jake noll, Jane Harrison, los angeles comedy, maggie maye, Molly Kearney, sammy mowrey, Shrimp Boys, tyler jackson, yard theater

Whether you need a complete distraction from the ever more hellish reality we live in or just a jolt of unfettered absurdity, there is nothing quite like Late Late Breakfast to serve those in plentiful supply to all of our heart’s content.

Late Late Breakfast was forged several years ago by Tyler Jackson and Danny Maupin as an alternative to any sort of traditional comedy show by challenging stand-up comedians to do their act while a randomly selected ridiculous task was assigned to them. That could be anything from embodying the seven deadly sins throughout their set to being interrupted by a karaoke chorus of Sweet Caroline from the audience. It’s controlled chaos, perhaps, in its finest form.

It has been quite some time since they’ve mounted an edition of Late Late Breakfast in LA, but the Yard Theater will be letting this bonkers show bring some life to next Monday night on Aug. 29th at 9PM. Having to run through a gauntlet of abject silliness will be a very, very fine collection of LA comedians including The Shrimp Boys, Curtis Cook, Molly Kearney, Maggie Maye, Brodie Reed, Bailey Norton, Jane Harrison, Jake Noll, and Carly Kane with Tyler Jackson and Sammy Mowrey presiding over all the tomfoolery.

Tickets are only $5 and you really ought to go get tickets and have a Monday night to remember here.

Nathan Fielder Will Get a Chance to Outdo Himself Again as The Rehearsal Gets Second Season

August 19, 2022
News
hbo, nathan fielder, the rehearsal

Nathan Fielder took the Internet’s attention captive with four seasons of Nathan For You and his satirical, intentionally unwitting(?) attempts to improve real-life small businesses. While Fielder had a hand in How To with John Wilson, we’ve all been waiting a long time to see what Nathan had inevitably been working in secret on.

The Rehearsal on HBO was that very thing that we’ve been constantly refreshing any sort of social media feed to see any news about and it truly hasn’t disappointed. If anything, HBO gave Nathan a near infinite sandbox to play with in the concept of having people prepare for tough life situations via near identical rehearsals complete with fully immersive sets and trained actors. Fielder, of course, doesn’t leave the humor inherent in the premise to fuel the show, but, as always, goes deeper and follows the truth of whatever real people have gotten involved with Nathan’s comedy experiments. There is a great deal of Nathan having to adapt and deal with the direction of the show that’s actually part of the show and one might fervently ponder, even more than in Nathan For You, how much Nathan is in control and how deep his rabbit hole of “all-of-this-being-a-bit” vs. “it-being-real” goes.

The incredulity of it all might be the point rather than trying to figure out how much Nathan is in on everything. How else do you process, slight spoiler here, Nathan trying to “rehearse” as an actor of one of his “acting classes” that’s all set up to be the veritable theater group that he uses for the actual rehearsals for the show itself?

It might be Nathan’s most brilliant work to date and something that really highlights comedy truly as art.

Thank goodness that HBO is giving him a whole second season where Nathan will undoubtedly pull several rugs out from underneath us all yet again.

The Rehearsal is streaming now on HBO Max with the season finale airing tonight on HBO and streaming on HBO Max.

One more chance to get it right.#TheRehearsal has been renewed for Season 2. pic.twitter.com/Y8uECt4EfD

Pick of the Day: Butterboy (in NYC) Returning 9/5

August 19, 2022
News
aparna nancherla, butterboy, jo firestone, maeve higgins

If you’re a New Yorker, you might have noticed that Mondays might have been a little different in regards to the comedy scene. Butterboy @ Littlefield, one of the pillars of NYC comedy, took a quiet look break this Summer.

Don’t worry however as hosts Jo, Aparna, and Maeve will be returning to their regularly scheduled programming starting very soon, specifically Sept. 5th (only a few weeks away). Make sure you’re in Gowanus, Brooklyn on that Monday and pretty much every Monday going forward if you want to see one of the best weekly shows throughout all five boroughs.

As always, you can get line-ups and $10 tickets for Butterboy at butterboycomedy.com.

Oh, if you’re in Las Vegas next month, you can catch a very special edition of Butterboy at Life Is Beautiful fest, running from Sept. 16th-18th.

We’re Doing a Nice Lil’ Storytelling Show at the End of the Month

August 18, 2022
News
ever mainard, jackie kashian, jake kroeger, los angeles, los angeles comedy, nori reed, storytelling, weho, will hines

There used to be a very healthy stable of comedy forward storytelling shows in LA and that has yet to come back to the sort of frequency that it had in 2019. So, we’re kinda manifesting that in a storytelling show we’re putting at the ultra-cool gift shop that is New Profanity in WeHo.

Called Other Day Stories, our very own Jake Kroeger will host and present tales from LA’s very best including Nori Reed, Ever Mainard, Will Hines, and Jackie Kashian.

This very first Other Day Stories will happen on Tues. Aug. 30th @ 7:30PM (Doors 7PM) at New Profanity. Tickets are $10 and you really ought to go get them here right now.

Pick of the Day: Flagship (near LA) Fridays Starting 8/26

August 18, 2022
News
glendale, los angeles comedy, mike bridenstine, stand up comedy, the glendale room

Throughout our tenure covering LA comedy, we’ve seen plenty a weekly comedy show and go and a crucial factor contributing to that is the day of the week that the show chooses. Fridays, in our experience, is one of the hardest to pull off as there are plenty of the big nights at the big comedy clubs, special events, in-town headliners, one-offs, monthlys on top of just the general idea of being at the weekend’s doorstep and folks wanting to just enjoy a drink with friends at their favorite local bar to compete with.

That’s not to say it can’t be done. Faded, of course, has carved out their home on Fridays on Melrose, but there is a new weekly show coming to the Eastside, specifically in Glendale at the what is quickly being known as LA comedy’s coziest room, The Glendale Room. The low key, indie book store feel has provided a wonderfully intimate space for all kinds of comedy, but what will soon be home to Flagship on Fridays at 8PM with host Mike Bridenstine.

Just like all the other weekly shows that Bridenstine has his fingers in on the Eastside, it’ll be a very neatly curated line-up of LA’s finest, amazing visiting comics, and old stalwarts from Bridenstine’s Chicago days.

The very first line-up will feature stand-up from:

Sammy Mowrey
Kiran Deol
Megan Gailey
Max Beasley
River Butcher
Jared Logan

You can (and should) go get tickets here for the nice price of just $10 every week starting next Fri. Aug. 26th.

Yes, There’s So Much TV to Watch, But Seriously Binge and Enjoy “This Fool” Right Now

August 17, 2022
News
chris estrada, frankie quinones, hulu, jake weisman, matt ingebretson, pat bishop, this fool

Whether it’s The Bear or A League of Their Own or delving into all of Stranger Things once more because you’re obsessed, there is an abundance, perhaps an overabundance of TV to enjoy/work through in your weekly syllabus to keep up with the never ending class that so much of are in, Pop Culture 101. It’s clear this current “Golden Age of Television” is alive and well and has plenty more to give (we have no doubt that people are planning watch parties for The Rings of Power and House of the Dragon already).

One of the brand new series that’s keeping prestige TV going is This Fool, just released on Hulu. The creators of Corporate on Comedy Central, Jake Weisman, Matt Ingebretson, and Pat Bishop, teamed up with one of the LA comedy scene’s gem Chris Estrada to make a show that is uniquely it’s own single-cam sitcom version of how the other half lives in LA these days while maintaining a lot of the same darkly satirical verve that made Corporate so tantalizingly funny (Jake and Matt do make a cameo in This Fool, FYI).

Following an arc of the absurdities of trying to adapt to life after being incarcerated isn’t new territory for a comedy, but nearly every character in the show is fully realized in a way that offers nuance you probably wouldn’t find in a multi-cam with overlapping themes. In fact, such painstaking attention is paid to Frankie Quinones’ Luis, fresh out of prison and thrashing against life on the outside amidst adapting to it, and Michael Imperioli’s Minister Payne, the head of the show’s non-profit “Hugs Not Thugs” dedicated to reforming the formerly incarcerated that the show ends up sneaking in sharp commentary on prison, class, race, and mental health. That’s saying a lot for something is very much a pure comedy as opposed to the deluge of dramedies that keep coming out, hoping for an Emmy victory.

The authenticity of the show can’t be applauded enough. With Estrada’s life/stand-up serving as much of the spark, there is a clear telling of an original story from his perspective rather than another network trying to check off a diversity and inclusion box. In short, there isn’t a corny, performative feel to how the show has been crafted and its depictions of LA either South of the 10 or East of the 101. This seems to be quite the tall order these days at the network level. Also, Quinones, Imperioli, Estrada himself serve up such genuine performances that you can’t help but get enveloped in their endlessly flawed journey.

You can take a gander at all of this in the trailer here OR you can go stream all episodes right now at Hulu (a thing we highly recommend you do even if you feel like you’re overdoing it on prestige television).

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 125: Roz Hernandez & Second Go Arounds

drag, los angeles comedy, roz hernandez, trans

Not only is Roz Hernandez one of the folks that you should absolutely be watching while they ascend to comedy stardom, but she has one of the most fascinating comedy journeys that we’ve ever come across. From comedy to drag to doing both, then, in the midst of lockdown, opting to transition from the drag queen Roz Drezfalez to Roz Hernandez and being her most hysterical self to waves of raucous laughter and applause. Roz shares that long and winding path while we recorded the episode for a 2nd time, relocating from Erewhon patio to Del Taco parking lot.

Without a doubt, one of the most fun eps. we had and worth going around a 2nd time.

Pick of the Day: Must Love Dogs and Comedy (in LA) 8/18

August 17, 2022
News
danielle perez, jolie dudley, los angeles comedy, mateen stewart, must love dogs, robby hoffman, stand up, Sydnee Washington, theresa bateman

Both live comedy and one’s dog bring a very concentrated dose of joy on their own. Together, potentially, they could make for an evening that will leave you smiling bigger than you ever imagined you might smile (so long as the pooches don’t bark at the comics?).

Must Love Dogs and Comedy, a dog friendly show based out of NYC, is giving Angelenos a chance at having their pups with them in addition to a stellar line-up of the LA comedy scene’s finest (as well as raise money for the Annenberg PetSpace Emergency Vet Fund).

This Thurs. Aug. 18th, host/creator Jolie Dudley will take over the Wallis Annenberg PetSpace at 6PM PT (doors at 5:30PM PT) with the likes of Danielle Perez, Mateen Stewart, Robby Hoffman, Sydnee Washington, and Theresa Bateman.

Not only is your dog welcome, but their will be free treats from JustFoodForDogs (as well as libations for humans too)

Tickets start at $25 and you can (and should) go get them here.

Pick of the Day: Wolves of Glendale (in NYC) 8/31

August 16, 2022
News
caroline's, eric jackowitz, ethan edenburg, musical comedy, nyc comedy, tom mcgovern, wolves of glendale

The abject absurdity of this world, sometimes, is best coped with by meeting it with some concentrated, even more obtuse absurdity. Melodies and harmonies with a catchy beat doesn’t hurt either.

That’s where you’ll want to tune into the Wolves of Glendale, a newly minted musical comedy trio of Ethan Edenburg, Eric Jackowitz, and Tom McGovern. Their songs are a hysterical reflection of a time so ridiculous that is virtually without precedent within our lifetimes. As perhaps alluded to above, they sure can get your toe tapping with whatever they’re playing.

Most recently, you’ve might have seen them on one of the literally big stages at Netflix Is a Joke Fest, which is saying something considering they were a band only formed earlier this year and, as such, you shouldn’t miss their exclusive night at Caroline’s on Broadway in NYC at the end of the month.

Ethan, Eric, and Tom will take the stage as The Wolves of Glendale on Wed. Aug. 31st at 7PM ET, which will be quite the amazing setting to see them (you’ll probably never see live music as intimately as in a comedy club). Tickets are $20 (plus a 2 drink min.) and you really ought to get your tickets here now.
