5) Speaking of Conan (again), don’t miss out on the Sklar Brothers performing tonight (TBS 11PM) or to pick up their fantastic album “Hendersons & Daughters”.

6) Connected Comedy gathered late night debuts of stand-ups on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. We think you should take a minute or an hour and check it out.

7) Congratulations are also in order for the web series, Runyon: Just Above Sunset, starring Eddie Pepitone, directed by Troy Conrad, taking Best in Show at the Burbank Film Festival Shorts Contest.

8) Halle Kiefer and Adam Frucci discuss whether or not Whitney will survive its ad campaign on Splitsider. If NBC is going to pull shit like this (via @thatramosgirl), we think not.

1) Aubrey Plaza is “one of the most fascinating people” that Conan’s talked to into awhile.

2) Don Rickles on Jimmy Kimmel Live (including Parts 1 & 2).

3) Over the last few months, there has been a lot of talk about the consequences of talking about sexual assault and rape on stage and being aware of the sensitivity of audience members. Today, Barbara Holm gives an interesting flip on the debate in regards to hecklers sexually harassing comedians at Laughspin.

4) A guy sells punny-one liners in a park. There was a guy in Venice who just used to take donations and would make a living performing his act on the street. Is America prime for “street comedy”?

5) Laughter Against the Machine, a comedy tour bringing laughs to political hot spots around the U.S., is only a few days away from needing to meet their donation goal. If that wasn’t enough, hear what Marc Maron had to say about it.

1) Jay Leno’s joke about Casey Anthony didn’t go well until he repeated it the 2nd time. The joke, in structure and delivery, was typical Leno monologue, but dark by his standards, especially given how little time has passed since the Anthony acquittal.  Perhaps, it would have gone better if Gilbert Gottfried had told it.

2) We concur with Witstream: Stop suckin’ Favstar’s dick.

3) Tired of reading the Papaya King Billboard on Hollywood Blvd.? Think you have something better, more clever, utilizing obscure references?  Well, now’s your chance… Submit your idea for a Papaya King billboard and it may be posted in the LA area.

4) Keep this in mind: “@DuBouchet (Andrés Du Bouchet) Alright when the CD/mp3 of ‘Naked Trampoline Hamlet’ DOES come out, the first person to TWEET @dubouchet what fake name I use TWICE wins 100 bucks. I’ll send you a check. And I love my fake names, so listen carefully! I use one twice.”  Whether or not you win, you should buy this.
