With the tragic passing of Robin Williams this week, the world of late night would feel remiss if they didn’t collectively tip their hats to Williams.

Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers all put together a tribute on their respective shows featuring memorable past appearances of Williams. If you’re wondering why Letterman, Kimmel, The Daily Show, etc. aren’t doing the same, they’re simply not taping new episodes this week.

That’s right, Tommy Johnagin has been on The Late Show with David Letterman to do stand-up 7 times. Last night marked his 7th set and, obviously, there’s a reason why Johnagin keeps getting invited back (hint: he’s damn funny).

Leave it to Marc Maron’s day off to pester a doctor to get an MRI because Maron thinks he has cancer.

Marc told that story on Late Night with Seth Meyers as well as what he does to get going in the morning in place of coffee, which is, appropriately enough for Marc, more complicated and intense than a cup of coffee.

Sounds like an episode recap of a pretty great episode of his IFC series Maron.
