With The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail now on Comedy Central, both Jonah and Kumail joined Conan O’Brien in a nice chat covering Kumail’s mom getting grossed out by a certain fictional graffiti logo on Silicon Valley as well as Jonah and Kumail’s hell gig stories and their cartoon crushes that seem to hold true even as adults.
Whether or not you’re familiar with the amazing comedy of James Adomian, his turn as the Sheriff of Nottingham who interrupts comedy shows exclusively to look for Robin Hood and also try to keep up the perception that he “isn’t” a gay villain stereotype is something that absolutely needs to be seen.
Luckily, Adomian got to perform, in full costume, as the Sheriff of Nottingham on The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail on Comedy Central and you can watch it in all of its hilarious glory here.

Now that The Meltdown with Jonah & Kumail is a TV series having its series premiere on Comedy Central Jul. 23rd 12:30AM, you’re probably wondering how it, a great comedy show in the back of a comic book store, all got started.
Well, while it’s always been in the back of Meltdown Comics, it hasn’t always been hosted by Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani. In fact, the show had been going for awhile, but only went to the weekly phenomenon that we all know now with the forces of Jonah, Kumail, and producer/booker Emily Gordon coming together a few years ago.

Friends and comedians Gabe Delahaye and Max Silvestri are still in therapy together for their web series Gabe & Max Need Help, though, this time, catfishing has somehow found its way into their relationship, despite them knowing each other very well.

Gabe and Max Need Help is a brand new web series from the very funny Gabe Delahaye and Max Silvestri showcasing their tried and true friendship through their most “tried” parts. The first episode shows them go through friendship counseling with Kumail Nanjiani as a therapist.
Kumail Nanjiani Launches a Podcast Solely Focusing on The X-Files, The X-Files Files
Feral Audio adds another great comedian and podcast to their roster in Kumail Nanjiani’s brand new X-Files Files. As you might guess, Kumail breaks down every episode of the X-Files with a guest.
Already we’re hooked on the idea, but this is even better if you’ve heard Kumail’s joke about his love/hate relationship with the X-Files.
At roasts, most comedians say things, especially about other comedians, that they probably wouldn’t want to say in front of that person’s family.
Well, Kumail Nanjiani went ahead and played out part of Pete Holmes’ roast from years ago as Pete’s family is in the audience. Watch it here.
The hilarious Kumail Nanjiani was on Conan this week and showed how in tune with this generation he is by talking about how much he loves bidets after trying one for the first time and Twitter as it’s being cataloged by The Library of Congress.
Even though it’s technically bathroom and Twitter humor, Kumail makes it as almost as high brow as you can make it.
You will have to wait until Sun. April 6th for the premiere of Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley with Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani, and Zach Woods.

We’ve been waiting to see anything from the satirical take on the titular Silicon Valley from Mike Judge premiering in early April on HBO.
Finally, there is a teaser trailer that’s pretty great as well as featuring the awesome cast of Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, and T.J. Miller.

NBC doesn’t want to give up on Craig Robinson’s pilot just yet as the entire cast got their options extended at the network.
We’re intrigued to see what happens with that project as Steve Little, Steve Agee, and Kumail Nanjiani are part of this cast.
Kumail Nanjiani will have his first 1 hour stand up special on Comedy Central July 20th at Midnight, “Beta Male”. A CD/DVD of the whole thing, extended and uncensored of course, will be available the following Tuesday, July 23rd.
Our advice: Get in on both.

In case it’s not obvious, this is fantastic news. Congratulations on one of the best live shows in LA becoming a TV show. We’re also glad to hear that it will still be taped at Nerdmelt.
This is definitely a great move on Comedy Central’s part with the ever burgeoning world of comedy on TV with IFC, FXx, TBS, and more.
Watch this latest red band trailer for The Kings of Summer and we’re sure you’ll want to see this instead of After Earth or Now You See Me (i.e. the big budget Summer flicks coming out on the same day, May 31st).
