The Simpsons Will Be Available to Stream Through FXx
No longer will you need to have the stacks of DVD box sets around your house of The Simpsons as FXx has made a deal to stream them exclusively online.
That’s over 500 episodes to binge watch, so get ready.
While FXx is letting go of Totally Biased, it’s bringing on an animated series that’s giving the Eastbound & Down treatment to the rap game. ‘Chozen’.
Featuring the voices of Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress, Method Man, Kathryn Hahn, and more, you should definitely give the trailer a watch. Chozen premieres Mon. Jan. 13th.
FXX’s ‘Totally Biased’ Cancelled, Last Show To Air Tonight
This is sad news for what was shaping up to be quite a show. We hope W. Kamau Bell as well as the staff of Hari Kondabolu, Dwayne Kennedy, Kevin Avery, Eliza Skinner, Aparna Nancherla, Guy Branum, Kevin Katoaka, Louis Katz, Frank Conniff and more will find another way to be on TV again because they were all pretty great.

FX Buys Modern Day Odd Couple Comedy From Randall Einhorn
FX/FXx adds another intriguing project to their slate with a Randall Einhorn (Wilfred, The Office) an adaptation of an ‘odd couple’ type novel that’s a little bit of a departure from the typical odd couple fare, but relies on the same dynamic.
That is, unless we’re mistaken, and The Odd Couple featured gang members and drug use.
While a Daily Show-esque program, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell features stand up comedy. Not only do they have a bunch of great stand ups on the show, but they’ll have the likes of the very funny Sheng Wang do a set on the show.
It’s definitely something good to see considering that stand up during late night isn’t just a given anymore.
FX has possibly nabbed it’s next big comedy star in Sacha Baron Cohen. Already having the likes of Louis C.K., Jim Jefferies, the gang from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia at FXx, Sacha Baron Cohen has inked a deal to give a first look at his TV projects at FX/FXx as well as to bring back old episodes of Da Ali G Show on the air.
That’s a pretty great move, FX/FXx.
Bob Odenkirk & Glenn Howerton Join FX’s ‘Fargo’
So, Colin Hanks, Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thorton, Kate Walsh, Oliver Platt, and now, Bob Odenkirk and Glenn Howerton will be part of the TV adaptation of Fargo at FX.
For the sake of all of us, this needs to go to air ASAP (or whenever the Coen Brothers think it’s good enough).

Martin Freeman to Co-Star in FX’s ‘Fargo’ Adaptation
It’s good news that the Coen Brothers adaptation of their own movie Fargo for FX is moving forward and also that Freeman has now just landed in the cast.
We’re just curious how much of the dark comedy will they play up or down and whether that will ultimately land a Fargo television series appropriately at FX or FXx.
FXx Has Officially Launched/Airing “Parks and Recreation Marathon”
The day has come where the comedy at FX has now spun off into a sister channel in FXx. Most of the series will premiere their new season on Wed. Sept. 4th, but, for now, you can enjoy an entire Parks and Recreation marathon on (check GetFXX.com to see what channel # it is).
Paul Giamatti Starring in FX Dramedy Pilot
Based on the hardboiled detective novels of Charles Willeford in addition to being described as a comedic drama, it’s hard to tell whether this pilot at FX will end up in FX’s drama half or over at FXx.
Still, the idea that Paul Giamatti can be another character that could potentially have another Sideways-esque meltdown makes us hope that they will happen soon and often wherever the series could land.
FX Orders Seth Rogen-Produced ‘Bigfoot’ Animated Comedy Pilot
After the success of This Is The End, we’ve all been wondering what’s next for Seth Rogen behind the camera and it turns out an animated series on Bigfoot over at the soon to be launched FXx is what’s in store.
The details of the show aren’t completely outlined yet, but we would think that a Rogen voiced Bigfoot would seem fitting.
FX Enlisting Donald Glover To Create/Star In Music-Themed Comedy Series
Among FX’s latest projects that they’re developing to fill their programming schedule when FXx launches, a Donald Glover music based comedy series is definitely one of the more intriguing ones.
Hopefully, this project will get farther than the Dave Grohl/Dana Gould rock comedy that was going to happen.
First off, congratulations to the hilarious Eliza Skinner in getting a staff writing position at Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.
Secondly, congratulations to Totally Biased having one hell of a writing staff with Hari Kondabolu, Kevin Avery, Dwayne Kennedy, Guy Branum, Aparna Nancherla, Kevin Kataoka, Janine Brito, and now Eliza.
Basically, you should all be excited for Totally Biased expanding to several days a week soon.
Brian McCann Joins FX’s ‘Totally Biased’ as a Writer/Producer
Brian McCann, which some of you might better know as Preparation H Raymond and so many other characters on Conan, has now gone from Conan to Nikki and Sara Live to ‘Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell’ at FX.
We can’t wait to see what he brings to Totally Biased.
Brett Gelman and Jenny Slate Cast in FX Pilot
They’ll be joining Judy Greer and Nat Faxon on the Andrew Gurland pilot at FX for FXx. It sounds like quite the cast and, perhaps, this is a sign of things to come at FXx, which we’re liking the look of.
FXx Makes First Series Order with Danny McBride’s Animated ‘Chozen’
The process of programming an entire comedy channel at FX’s comedy spin-off channel, FXx, has begun.
Just as it has been confirmed (as was suspected) that Eastbound & Down’s latest season will be its last, Danny McBride is already set for his next project, an animated comedy at FXx called ‘Chozen’.
Well, it looks like September is going to bring a whole new season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as well as an entire new comedy channel in the highly anticipated FXx.

FX Promoted John Landgraf to CEO
For all the groundbreaking moves he’s made with Louie, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Legit, and so on and so forth, essentially making FX a competitor in comedy on cable, we’re really glad to see this promotion came to Landgraf.
No More Co-Starring For Judy Greer As She’s Cast in FX Comedy Pilot
The delightful Judy Greer that you’ve enjoyed in anything from Arrested Development to Jeff Who Lives at Home and plenty more as a supporting actress (she’s writing a whole book about it) is finally getting a starring role in a FX comedy pilot.
We’re very intrigued to see what this will come to be.
FX Orders Comedy Pilot ‘The Comedians’ Starring Billy Crystal
Based off the description, part of us thinks it’s kind of the flipside of the scene from Annie Hall where Woody Allen is listening to a talk show host on what type of jokes he wants. Another part of us thinks that could be really great and that FXx consequently will be great.

Hopefully, this bit extolling the dangers of printing guns from 3D printers from this week with the very funny Aparna Nancherla and Kevin Avery will put remind you to watch it on regular basis again.
Posted just over an hour ago, the very funny Jim Jefferies announced on his Twitter feed that, “We got a 2nd season”. We’re assuming he’s talking about his great FX series, Legit, given that the tweet before this one above is about the finale of season one of Legit.
Great to hear that FX is keeping their comedy line-up so far for FXx.
