Every time Martin Short has been on various late night talk shows over the years, he’s always got a killer zinger or a great story about some celebrity mishap and it makes us wonder why he isn’t on the dais on more roasts.
Last night on Conan was no exception.
We’re glad that Dave Attell is back with his special Road Work and Comedy Underground and making the rounds.
Just check him out having fun at Conan like he’s back at a comedy club.
The very funny Cristela Alonzo was invited back to perform on Conan last night and gave us the breakdown on how you answer your phone based on your income, how she sort of feels like Dora the Explorer sometimes, and more.
Conan’s Bill Tull gives us all some money saving tips on how to celebrate Easter on a budget. Seeing this, Bill Tull should be the prop master for a low budget remake of a big budget movie.
Last night on Conan, Nick Thune told the story of discovering the sex of the baby that his wife had and how the doctor made fun of him for Thune thinking that he knows better than the doctor.
Thune, a professional comedian, wasn’t to be “out-joked” by a doctor and got that doctor back. Watch the whole story, complete with proof, here.
Dan Soder got invited back to do stand-up again on Conan and tell us all of how great a Gin Rummy player his grandma is (i.e. she’s ruthless).

While in Dallas, Conan O’Brien, of course, got into much goofiness as possible. One of those instances was using one of the biggest TV screens in the world at AT&T Stadium to play video games.
As you’ll see, it’s a lot of fun and Conan highly recommends renting AT&T Stadium to do the same because we all have that kind of money.
The hilarious Kumail Nanjiani was on Conan this week and showed how in tune with this generation he is by talking about how much he loves bidets after trying one for the first time and Twitter as it’s being cataloged by The Library of Congress.
Even though it’s technically bathroom and Twitter humor, Kumail makes it as almost as high brow as you can make it.
While deputized in Texas, Conan O’Brien did an episode of CSI: Crimes People Didn’t Report Because They Didn’t Think It Was Worth It.
Not only did Rob Gleeson showcase his abilities as a very funny comedian during his set on Conan last night, but he also did his entire set about coming out and identifying himself as gay.
The set was earnest, personal, heartfelt, and hilarious in a way that most people, even in 2014, wouldn’t probably think of if they heard the label “gay comedian”. Hopefully, they’ll think otherwise afterwards.
Please watch Gleeson’s Conan set here.
Conan O’Brien Brining Conan to Comic-Con 2015
Even though this is more than a year away, Conan O’Brien taping a week of Conan at Comic-Con is definitely Christmas come early for us.
Perhaps, there will just be a booth to get insulted by Triumph?
The new slogan for Dallas by Andy Richter during Conan’s week in Dallas would be pretty great to see this on a billboard or a bumper sticker.
Taking advantage of being in Dallas, Conan O’Brien brought his infamous associate producer Jordan Schlansky to a western wear shop to dress him up as a cowboy.
As you can imagine, Jordan wasn’t that into it making this remote segment all the better.
As we’ve said many times before, the remote segments where Conan O’Brien goes to do a seemingly ordinary things like visit a pawn shop, go to a florist, etc. are some of the funniest things around.
This remote segment of Conan trying to being a Mary Kay door-to-door beauty consultant is no exception.
Conan O’Brien has kicked off his week in Dallas, TX and starting off quite nicely with yet another amazing stand up set from Tig Notaro.
Conan O’Brien is stepping up the late night game by having a 360° thanks to AT&T on his set to capture every single thing that is happening on Conan. Just by clicking and dragging you can something that’s happening in the audience or if Andy Richter is doing something weird or a wookie is standing in the background.
It even works in embedded clips. Can’t wait to see what bits Conan and company concocts utilizing a full 360° of vision. Watch the details here.
During his panel interview last night on Conan, Hannibal Buress gave us some insight to his life right now, specifically on Scarlett Johannson being a fan and meeting her as well as tweeting out that Comedy Central picked up his show when really that was just positive thinking.
After watching the clip, let’s all hope Hannibal’s tweet of a vision board makes The Secret work for once so we can see him get his own show.
We’re sure you’ve enjoyed the release of Todd Barry’s Crowd Work Tour comedy special, but you can enjoy some great prepared material while on Conan last night.
Tonight’s Episode of Conan Has Jeff Garlin, Andy Daly, and Todd Barry
It’s rare that a late night talk show these days has a line-up full of comedians, almost similar to how long it takes for planets to align.
Yet, tonight’s Conan on TBS features, as mentioned above, Jeff Garlin, Andy Daly, and Todd Barry all in the same hour. In short, it should be a whole bunch of fun on top of the whole bunch of fun that Conan already is.
Don’t miss it. TBS 11PM.
We’ve known about how great Ian Karmel is for awhile, but now the rest of the world can find that out as he just notched in his first stand up appearance on Conan last night.
Last night, Ted Alexandro graced the stage at Conan and gave us all well crafted comedic insight about classical radio and gay rights.
The very funny Fortune Feimster put together a nice set on Conan this week that you should check out. There’s a pretty great indirect shout to Old Navy in there as well.
Only a few weeks after Jimmy Kimmel Live will have made done a week’s worth of shows at SXSW in Austin, TX, Conan O’Brien and Team Coco will make their way to Dallas, TX from Mar. 31st to Apr. 4th. On the prospect of Conan doing remote segments at some famous Dallas landmarks is exciting in of itself.
So, Texas, you’re going to have a great spring when it comes to late night.
