This time around, Marc delves into kale and Skype sex being things that weren’t things really 15 years ago in the last millennium.
The entirety of comedy has been trying to deal with one of the most tragic falls of one of its own that it has ever had. That’s saying a lot given the very well known flaws of many comedians, but the counts upon counts upon counts of sexual assault and rape levied at Bill Cosby have been hard to process given how so many people held him in such high regard.
So, comedy is starting to do what it does best and bring some levity to the whole matter. You might have caught Seth Meyers do a meta-bit about doing a joke about the controversy surrounding Cosby or a quick one-liner from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.
Last night, Conan O’Brien delivered a Cosby joke within his What’s Conan Watching Now (around 1:12) segment on Conan.
As a Cosby biographer stated that he may to revise future editions of Cosby: His Life and Times, more live performances of Cosby are getting cancelled or are offering refunds before the shows even happen, Bill Cosby himself resigned from the Temple University Board of Trustees, and Bill Cosby himself only spoke up on the matter to say that he “…doesn’t have to answer to innuendos,” late night jokes on national television are seemingly only the beginning of what will be a hot button topic for comedians for the next several years.
Jason Bateman is always a good late night guest with his stories, quips, reactions, etc. His panel interview from Conan this week is a perfect example.
Going through dealing with kids, how horrific a talk show would be for him to want to host it, and addressing the “bromance” with Will Arnett, Bateman showcases why Conan O’Brien asked him about talk show hosting.
If you live in Southern California, you probably have the ever present fear of a big earthquake looming in your psyche. While there has been an app that could possibly detect and warn you of an earthquake, it could only supposedly give you a 10-second warning.

Allen Strickland Williams has been working his way through the LA scene for more than a few years now and all his work has just paid off. Last night saw Allen’s late night stand-up debut on Conan.
Give it a watch and, if you’re into this sort of thing, count the applause breaks because there’s plenty to count.
Conan O’Brien always let a good bit of chaos ride on his show, which usually makes for the unforgettable moments over the last several years.
However, it only takes one rushed pencil sharpening job and some guy named Larry who was only sharpening pencils gets wholly swallowed up in said chaos.

Hopefully, after watching Matt Donaher’s set from Conan last night, which, was also his first late night TV set, you’ll appreciate the wondrous craftsmanship of Donaher’s jokes as much as we do.
In fact, we’ll never forget this set, especially if we’re thinking about eskimos.

However, if you really get nostalgic about it, you might enjoy a night where Conan’s old band leader, Max Weinberg, along with an über goofy bit had one more night together on last night’s Conan.
Sure demonically possessed toys are creepy. Sentient toys that have a penchant for darker annals of human history are also creepy, but pretty funny when you put them in the context of WikiBear on Conan.

You’re seeing a lot of Tenacious D in the news and deservedly so. They’ve announced their worldwide tour and the second edition of their comedy and music festival, Festival Supreme, is tomorrow.
On their appearance Conan, Jack Black goes into how he funded the festival as well as going through a map of the haunted house/maze, one of only many attractions coming tomorrow afternoon at The Shrine near USC.
Then, of course, no Tenacious D appearance on late night would be really complete without Jack Black and Kyle Gass rocking one of their tunes live, which, in this case, happens to be their song “History”.
Apparently, the master of the Beliebers, Justin Bieber is taking boxing lessons from the one and only Floyd Mayweather.
This week, Conan O’Brien was able to somehow get “exclusive footage” of their training sessions and it’s probably, we’re guessing, what you’ve been waiting to see happen to Justin Bieber.
Gary Gulman is currently on a tour across the country that will lead up to the taping of his third special. Not many comics get to have late night be one of the stops on their tour, but Gary got to return to Conan for a second time to do stand-up and showcase the sharply written comedy that’s gotten him to this point after 20 years.

All of us were lucky enough to get T.J. Miller on late night twice this week with stops at Conan and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Not that were any sort of medical authority, but we figure that you need a good dose of T.J. in your life. So, enjoy T.J. talking to Conan O’Brien about his performance art morning news appearances and then proposing only like T.J. Miller would and having all sorts of hijnks and then doing stand-up on Ferguson.
Last year, Dan St. Germain did stand-up on Conan for the first time without a shirt and tie and it was pretty great.
For this second appearance on Conan, Dan donned an entire suit and absolutely made sure to comment how it doesn’t necessarily fit his particular brand joie de vivre and it went even better.
This week, Nick Offerman stopped by Conan and, as a Nick Offerman appearance would warrant, he campaigned against manscaping and told of his very “unique” experience in Catholic school.
On top of all that, you get to hear Nick laugh one of the world’s best laughs throughout the whole interview.
Such is a time and a place in either NYC’s Time Square or Hollywood and Highland here in LA these days that people can buy very good (or, in many cases, not so good costumes) of famous characters from TV and movies in order to make a living.

Last night, he went on Conan and made a case for cocaine to, at the very least, enhance your favorite performers as well as weighing the choice between being a great father and a great at your job. Beyond making some salient points, Jerrod gives you a great taste of what to expect on Saturday.
