Comedy Central’s Mobile App With Plenty to Watch
Comedy Central’s mobile app finally launched today the features dozens of episodes from the likes of South Park , The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, stand-up specials, “@midnight”, and even new shows Trip Tank and Comedy Underground with Dave Attell.
Best of all, it’s free.
During his panel interview last night on Conan, Hannibal Buress gave us some insight to his life right now, specifically on Scarlett Johannson being a fan and meeting her as well as tweeting out that Comedy Central picked up his show when really that was just positive thinking.
After watching the clip, let’s all hope Hannibal’s tweet of a vision board makes The Secret work for once so we can see him get his own show.

Our only question about this is how long are you going to wait before you go buy the first two seasons of Key & Peele?
The only exception to this would be waiting for the next box set to come out.
Comedy Central’s curated animated series Trip Tank got its first full length trailer and a few preview clips today. There’s plenty of wild, bizarre, great stuff happening as well as voices you’ll know like Zach Galifianakis, Bob Odenkirk, and more.
Trip Tank premieres Wed. Apr. 2nd 10:30PM on Comedy Central, but for now you can watch a series trailer and “killer bees”.
We certainly hope you’re watching Review on Comedy Central, one of the best new shows this year.
If not, watch Andy Daly as Forrest MacNeil review divorce and eating 30 pancakes (twice the number of the first time he “reviewed” binge eating pancakes), then you shouldn’t be sufficiently hooked to catch it every Thurs. 10PM.
Tonight’s Episode of Conan Has Jeff Garlin, Andy Daly, and Todd Barry
It’s rare that a late night talk show these days has a line-up full of comedians, almost similar to how long it takes for planets to align.
Yet, tonight’s Conan on TBS features, as mentioned above, Jeff Garlin, Andy Daly, and Todd Barry all in the same hour. In short, it should be a whole bunch of fun on top of the whole bunch of fun that Conan already is.
Don’t miss it. TBS 11PM.
Hannibal Buress’ Live From Chicago Available Now at CC:Direct for $5
Hannibal Buress’s latest comedy special hasn’t even aired yet, but you can get Live From Chicago right now uncensored, uncut all for that nice price of $5.
If you can’t get into his shows at Largo tonight and tomorrow, this will definitely be a great substitute. Also, we really shouldn’t give you a reason to pick this up other than mentioning that Hannibal has a new special out now.
Hannibal Buress’ new comedy special Live From Chicago will premiere on Comedy Central on Sat. Mar. 29th at midnight. However, you can buy an uncut version straight from CC:Stand Up Direct starting this Mon. Mar. 24th for $5. You can also wait until Apr. 1st for physical copies of the CD and DVD if you like having a box to go with it.
That sounds like a pretty good deal to us. Also, you can watch this clip from Live From Chicago of Hannibal’s thoughts on referencing molly in rap.
Along with “Drunk History”, Season 2 of “Nathan For You” Premieres Jun. 24th
Tuesdays this Summer are going to be great on Comedy Central as you’ll get to watch Drunk History and Nathan For You in the same evening. Jun. 24th sees the season 2 premieres of Nathan For You and Drunk History as was announced yesterday.
So just go ahead and block off Tuesday nights this Summer for this.
Drunk History Season 2 Premiering This June
You’re favorite history show as told by people who are absolutely hammered, then carefully reenacted word-for-word, detail-for-detail by professional actors is finally coming back this Summer.
Season 2 of Drunk History is set for 30 new stories colorfully told in almost accurate detail on June 24th on Comedy Central. How fitting of an announcement this is on St. Patrick’s Day.
Dave Attell is coming back to Comedy Central big time this year with an hour stand up special Dave Attell: Road Work and a stand-up series Comedy Underground with Dave Attell both set to premiere on Apr. 12th.
Also, Comedy Central’s latest animated compilation series Trip Tank from Robot Chicken producers is coming Apr. 2nd.
Put this on your list to look forward to next month.
Comedy Central Orders 10 Episodes of Hannibal Buress Series Unemployable-UPDATE: Not Yet
UPDATE: Comedy Central has not yet made a decision on Hannibal Buress’ pilot.
That’s right, Hannibal Buress is getting his own TV show on Comedy Central. From his amazing stand-up to him crushing his role on Broad City, we’d say it’s about time for this happen.
We can only hope that we get to see Unemployable ASAP.
Comedy Central Expanding Key & Peele Episode Order, Develops Animated Spinoff
Key & Peele has seemingly filled that staple sketch show that Comedy Central has been looking for after Chappelle’s Show came to an abrupt end. They’ve hit a nice intersection in being wildly popular online, but as well as a TV series.
So, very wisely, Comedy Central is giving them an actual full season order of 22 episodes and is working on an animated spin-off of Vandaveon & Mike.
’@midnight with Chris Hardwick’ has been doing so well that they’re getting a daytime spin-off series called “@midday” on the OWN Network hosted by Hardwick doppelganger Chad Softwick.
It’s either that or Will Ferrell wanted do something pretty damn great on ’@midnight’ last night. Watch it here.
Andy Daly’s Review Premieres Tonight
Tune into Comedy Central at 10PM tonight for the premiere of the greatest review show ever conceived, succinctly called Review with Forrest MacNeil (Andy Daly).
Forget movies, music, art, etc. These will be reviews of life. They’re also pretty damn hilarious.
Comedy Central’s ‘Kroll Show’ Renewed For Third Season
First off, congratulations to Nick Kroll on getting a third season at Comedy Central for Kroll Show.
So, this means Wheels Ontario will be back for another season as well.
Memorize this:
–Jim Gaffigan’s brand new comedy special Obsessed will be airing on Comedy Central on Apr. 27th.
-The full, uncut album is now on pre-order on iTunes and Amazon.
-The CD/DVD as well as the download for the special for $5 will come on Apr. 29th.
Commit that to memory and then enjoy this preview of Obsessed because Gaffigan is the best and can still with jokes about food.
It’s great that Broad City will be getting another season at Comedy Central, but that does mean they have to put their live tour on hold. Ilana and Abbi are really sorry about it, but promise that they will honor tickets that have already been purchased at future dates. All this should mean is that it will be all the more special because of the longer time that we have to wait.
In fact, the dates for their fall tour have already been set, so make/remake your plans now.
The series premiere of Review starring Andy Daly is coming very soon, specifically Mar. 6th 10PM on Comedy Central.

Comedy Central Renews ‘Broad City’ for Second Season
Comedy Central is on quite the streak as of late with their new series with the very funny Broad City being the latest example.
It’s good to see that a combination of plenty of positive reviews and good ratings are rewarded very quickly with a second season renewal.
There are little surprises to what delving into the experience of eating 15 pancakes is truly like, but it certainly is funny to watch it get “reviewed”.
That is what Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly does in this latest clip of Review that you should watch before getting Sunday brunch.
Now with Parker Posey, Comedy Central Pilot ‘Crazy House’ Might Have The Best Cast This Pilot Season
Parker Posey joins Nick Turner, Whitmer Thomas, Johnny Pemberton, Demorge Brown, Erik Charles Nielsen, Kate Berlant, Eugene Mirman, Big Jay Oakerson, Lindsay Ames, and Joe Urla in making for one of the most intriguing casts this pilot season in Comedy Central’s Crazy House from Nick Turner and Lee Rubenstein.
Just on the notion that these people need to be on TV more, especially together, this should get a greenlight.

Charlotte Newhouse and Jillian Bell star in Idiotsitter a series about a hell gig for babysitting coming to CC:Studios on Feb. 26th. From watching the trailer, it not only has promise for another great web series from Comedy Central’s online brand, but it also features Stephen Root and TJ Miller.
