The short of the long of it is that not that “we’re” vastly understaffed.

On Oct. 25th, 2014, The Comedy Bureau turned 4 years old. Most of you don’t know that because “we” really didn’t say anything. So, almost half a year later, “we’re” making up for that by throwing a belated anniversary show.

So, on Fri. Apr. 3rd, The Comedy Bureau we’ll be approximately 4 and 5/12th years old and we’ll be celebrating that exact time in our history at one of our favorite venues, Echoes Under Sunset.

With special guests:
Maria Bamford
Baron Vaughn
Joe Wagner
James Austin Johnson
Candice Thompson
Drennon Davis
Presented by Jake Kroeger and Brad Silnutzer

Doors 10PM
Starts 10:30PM
Echoes Under Sunset
1310 Glendale Blvd., Los Angeles, CA

The Brooklyn Cyclones Went For The Fences Celebrating 25th Anniversary of Seinfeld

Between temporarily changing the name of the stadium to Vandelay Industries Park, having the Soup Nazi in attendance, and doing a Elaine Benes style dance contest, the minor league baseball team known as The Brooklyn Cyclones probably had the best celebration of Seinfeld’s 25th Anniversary this weekend.

One of the longest running shows in television history, most certainly when it comes to animated series, The Simpsons is reaching its 25th year on the air and Fox is definitely commemorating the milestone with plenty of merchandise collaborations like Mr. Potato Head, LEGO.

Speaking of which, a whole episode will be done in LEGO as well. It’ll be quite the 25th year for The Simpsons.

Put Your Hands Together Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary in Jan.

It’s a lot to ask a brand new live show in LA’s vast comedy scene to replace the slot of something like Comedy Bang! Bang! at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (previously known as the legendary Comedy Death Ray), which is currently a hit podcast on Earwolf and TV show on IFC. Yet, Put Your Hands Together has made a name for itself over a year with it’s host Cameron Esposito having a hell of a year and being voted into one of LA Weekly’s yearly best lists.

So, celebrate the first year of Put Your Hands Together at UCB on Tues. Jan 7th 8PM with a wonderful line-up including: Matt Braunger, Rhea Butcher, Katie Crown, Ron Funches, Karen Kilgariff, Kyle Kinane, Howard Kremer, Brendon Small, Paul F. Tompkins, your fantastic host Cameron Esposito, and more TBA!

Celebrate Conan O’Brien’s 20 Years as a Late Night Talk Show Host with Some of His Best Moments

In commemoration of Conan O’Brien making it two decades as a late night talk show host, Team Coco has put up some of Conan’s best clips throughout his career as a late night talk show host at TeamCoco.com for a limited time (until Nov. 15th).

That includes him on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. So, and not to sound like an informercial, you can watch all of your favorites including:

Conan having dinner with Jordan Schlansky
Conan joining an old time baseball league
Conan starting a boy band
Hunter S. Thompson taking Conan shooting
and much more!

So congratulations to Conan for an amazing 20 years and let the Conan nostalgia binge begin!

We’ve been doing this (i.e. servicing the LA comedy scene and beyond) for 3 years now and we’re throwing an office party. Well, our office is technically mobile, so it will be at Echoes Under Sunset and we’re just going to throw one hell of a comedy show with some our favorite people (just look at the line-up) instead of just having handles of cheap vodka and someone’s iPod playing the background.

It’s at Oct. 25th 9PM Echoes Under Sunset. Repeat that at least 25 more times so you don’t forget.

Congratulations to The Feral Audio Podcast Collective on Its 1 Year Anniversary

The world of podcasting is still burgeoning, especially when it comes to the models of distribution such as a network or collective. That’s why Feral Audio deserves a slow clap for making it this far with the stable of great shows they have like Call Chelsea Peretti, This Feels Terrible with Erin McGathy, Weird Adults with Little Esther, and more that you should be checking out/subscribing to.
