Lewis Black on The Tonight Show
Lewis Black was on The Tonight Show this week and gave us all some great perspective on Congress as well as some tips on colonoscopies. Of course, there’s Black’s trademark rage to enjoy as well.

Hulu’s ‘The Hotwives of Orlando’ Premieres July 15
The next satirical reality show a la Burning Love seems like it will be Hotwives of Orlando. That’s why we’re happy to hear that it now has a premiere date.
July 15th on Hulu, we’ll get to see Casey Wilson, Kristen Schaal, Angela Kinsey, Andrea Savage, Tymberlee Hill, Danielle Schneider, Joey McIntyre, Stephen Tobolowsky, Weird Al Yankovic, Matt Besser, Jerry Minor, and more parody the Real Housewives franchise so well that it’s almost seems like the real thing.
Many things are said about President Barack Obama these days. One of those things is how he is possibly one of our funniest presidents to ever serve.
His performance at The White House Correspondents’ Dinner last night was a pretty great example of that. Watch it here.

Team Coco To Launch Comedy Label
Conan O’Brien has done many great things under the umbrella of his Conaco and Team Coco outside of his late night talk show. The latest one is a comedy label that will release comedian projects such as Ian Edwards’ first comedy album 100% Half Assed.
We’re already excited for the announcement and that they’ll be releasing an album from the hilarious Ian Edwards. So, naturally we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us all.
Adult Swim Greenlights Live-Action/Rotoscope Comedy Pilot From John Krasinski
Not only are we excited to hear that John Krasinski will be producing a comedy pilot for Adult Swim entitled Dream Corp LLC, but the idea itself sounds pretty amazing. Just from the description, there seems to be elements of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inception, and Rick and Morty that will all be put through the Adult Swim blender for this pilot.
Thus, Dream Corp LLC is yet another pilot this season we hope gets picked up just so we can all see what they came up with.
Season 4 of Louie Premieres Tonight on FX
We know the NBA Playoffs are still underway, but if the bar you’re at isn’t showing basketball, they should be showing the premiere of the brand new season of Louis C.K.’s Louie tonight on FX at 10PM. If you’re at home, you should definitely be watching Louie with two episodes playing back to back.
You’ll still be able to catch the second half of the game afterwards.
Adam Conover has a great explanatory web series called Adam Ruins Everything that shows that absurd reasons behind many of our culture’s most taken-for-granted practices. This time around, he shows us that there’s a little more to chopping a piece of the penis off than you probably have ever thought of.
Watch and learn and, hopefully, don’t feel too down afterwards here.
Key & Peele Team Up with Maker Studios for ‘Ithamar Has Nothing to Say’
Key & Peele are one of the comedy duos highest in demand right now. In addition to their hit sketch series, they’re involved in the Police Academy reboot and are in several other TV series.
Now, they’re joining together with Maker Studios, one of the biggest studios for the “digital space” of the web, to make Ithamar Has Nothing to Say starring Ithamar Enriquez a web series that’s been described by an industry source as “Mr. Bean” meets “Louie” meets “Walter Mitty.“ Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will also be in it.
So, we’re completely on board for all of this and hope it comes out soon.

A Special Thing Records keeps their streak of some of the coolest and most hilarious comedy albums around this year with Andrés du Bouchet’s upcoming 20 Sided Guy.
The amazing du Bouchet has put together a compilation of several hilarious performances of various characters and more, which you’ll probably really love if you’re a fan of his first album Naked Trampoline Hamlet. It’s set to span over 2 hours and features this bad ass cover art, shown above, by Skinner.
Look out for sometime this fall for the release of 20 Sided Guy.
‘The Comeback’ Is Officially Returning to HBO
Only having lasted one season at HBO almost a decade ago, The Comeback was very truly a cult comedy series for how fanatical the following was that it built.
Now set for six episodes back at HBO, it’ll join in the league of Arrested Development of series being brought back, seemingly, from the dead.

The line between television and reality was blurred as this past weekend, Veep’s VP Selina Meyer played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and actual Vice President, Joe Biden were. hanging out together.
It’s as much fun as you’d think it would be. Watch it here.
Here’s the Full Schedule for 2014’s Comedy Central ‘Half Hour’ Specials
Starting Jun. 6th, Comedy Central’s latest row of half hour comedy specials will play every Friday (except for July 4th at midnight, two at a time.
So, you’ll catch the likes of Tommy Johnagin on Jun. 13th or Ron Funches on Jun. 20th or Fortune Feimster on June 27th, Michael Che on Jun. 6th or Mark Normand on July 18th and many more.
Mark these all down and don’t forget
In less than two weeks, Maya Rudolph will premiere her variety show special on NBC, The Maya Rudolph Show, specifically May 19th at 10PM.
There’s finally a short teaser for what we’re expect, which seems very much like an old school variety show complete with musical number, several costumes changes, and comedy throughout. Watch it here.
Jimmy Kimmel Gets a Two-Year Contract Extension at ABC
Just announced this morning, Jimmy Kimmel will continue to be the sole star of ABC’s late night line-up through the start of 2017. As it stands now, he’ll be facing off with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, whoever Comedy Central picks to replace Colbert, and Conan O’Brien directly in 2016.
With this extension in place, there has to be more curiosity with what CBS and Comedy Central are going to do.
Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner to Star in Amy Poehler Pilot Presentation at USA Network
Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner are set to star in (and as) Difficult People, a comedy pilot presentation for USA Network with Amy Poehler executive producing.
Given all the elements involved, we have a hard time imagining this wouldn’t go to series at USA.
IFC Has New, More Fitting Logo
Given the prevalence of offbeat comedy at IFC these days, this new logo is definitely more appropriate, wouldn’t you say?
There are slight echoes of Comedy Central’s old logo here, which, if you can see the small resemblance, is ironic as Comedy Central now has a logo that closer to IFC’s old one. Comedy Central and IFC haven’t changed places programming wise, but IFC definitely programs much more comedy in place of the many foreign indie documentaries as they used to air ten years ago.
Basically, tomorrow night, that’s Wed. May 7th, if you’re in LA and not watching live comedy, then we’re assuming that you just didn’t hear about what’s going on.
Both the hilarious Jerrod Carmichael and Andy Peters are having tapings tomorrow night and you’d be remiss to not catch one or both of them (which you can pull off).
Jerrod Carmichael will taping his debut hour special at The Comedy Store at 8PM/10:30PM
Andy Peters will be taping his debut comedy album at The Virgil at 8PM
Please don’t miss any of this if you can make it out.

Fox Orders 10 Additional Episodes of Mulaney
Fox’s Kevin Reilly is really doubling down on ditching the pilot season model as Fox has just ordered ten more episodes of John Mulaney’s multi-cam sitcom Mulaney. This will bump the show up to a 16 episode first season, a rarity these days to the normal 6-8 episode order for new shows.
Hopefully, this move will work out in the long run, both for Mulaney and TV series, in general, getting a bit of a chance to develop.
Based off of some more life-affirming videos that featured a second of video of every day over one year, Ryan Singer attempted to showcase how great 2013 was with just the sound of it.
Watch and here the great result here (perhaps, NSFW?).
Cristela Alonzo & Jerrod Carmichael Pilots Could Still Be Picked Up to Series
According to the analysis by Deadline Hollywood at the link, projects that were, originally, barely pilots by Cristela Alonzo and Jerrod Carmichael are testing pretty well and have a lot of buzz about them at ABC and NBC, respectively.
Keep your fingers crossed as you probably already have for both of these to get picked up to series soon.
Long time Conan staff writer and bit player, Matt O’Brien got his own farewell tribute from the show featuring some of his best performances during sketches.
Very simply put, this set by Nick Vatterott on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is hysterical and brilliant.
Please do yourself and watch over and over now.
