A+E Networks Getting Back Into Comedy with Pilot Starring David Koechner
It’s been a long time since Evening at The Improv, but A+E has stepped back into the comedy arena by ordering a pilot starring David Koechner.
Good move A+E.
Apparently, we have only scratched the surface with the stories that comedy legend Mel Brooks has told on TV over the last year or so. PBS’ American Masters is going in-depth with Brooks and his friends and it should be pretty great.

Feral Audio’s latest addition to their really amazing line-up of podcasts is The Todd Barry Podcast. The description for the show is Todd Barry talking to friends and perhaps people he doesn’t know, but we hope that we get to see the inner workings of which trending topics on Twitter.
Doug Stanhope talking is intriguing in of itself, not to mention his stand-up being amazing, so just subscribe to Doug Stanhope’s Podcast already as it’s already two episodes in.
Comedy legend Carol Burnett stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night and recounted her first big break. It’s sort of miraculous what happened and that’s all we’ll say before just watching the clip and hearing Burnett tell a story of unbelievable kindness from a stranger.

‘Madden’ Covers with Key & Peele, Nick Kroll, and More
The Madden video game franchise should definitely put characters from successful Comedy Central series on their covers. One, it would be overall be pretty great/a break from the tired old stereotype of a football player in some athletic pose and, two, people could stop talking about the supposed Madden cover curse
This latest episode of Brody Stevens’ Push and Believe at CC:Studios features the very funny Joe DeRosa getting into the bullies in their life and pretending they are this empty chair they’re sitting next to. Also, there’s impromptu drumming making one hell of a funny therapy session.
Finally coming together to talk about their seminal characters Wayne and Garth of Wayne’s World at SNL are Mike Myers and Dana Carvey along with Lorne Michaels for this recent panel interview. Not only is this fascinating, but you’ll get to hear the type of notes Lorne gives on sketches such as Wayne’s World.
As tweeted last night, Patton Oswalt’s next album/special to be almost completely developed in Southern California over the next few months will be taped in San Diego at the Spreckels Theatre.

Peter Serafinowicz, who hopefully you already know of or just saw at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, just “uncovered” this video of an alien face’s fantastic mission to build androids on earth. Be forewarned of what may come, even if it’s Monty Python-esque replicants.
Watch The Finale of Season 3 of Burning Love
It’s been a whirlwind for the reality tv dating show parody Burning Love from a single season online to concurrently airing episodes of different seasons online and on TV.
Now, they’ve just posted their finale to season 3 and we hope they can keep this up or maybe make a spot on parody of Survivor.
After a run at Sundance, the David Gordon Green film ’Prince Avalanche’ gets a trailer. There’s not much revealed, though that is OK as Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch seem to get goofy in the woods while painting roads in their spare time (or maybe it’s the other way around).
Either way, it looks like it could be wonderful based off this trailer.

For those of you who don’t know comedian Josh Fadem, this is kind of a perfect introduction to him and his unique brand of physical comedy.
