Whitney Cummings Is Joining Only Fans Just for Dirty Jokes

November 4, 2022

Both Only Fans and comedians have tried to make the go-to independent, self-publishing adult content platform into a place beyond just nude photos and other such explicit material. However, this side of Only Fans hasn’t gotten so much traction as of yet.

That might all change with the arrival of Whitney Cummings and her new upcoming original show, Unfiltered Original Roast Series, due out next year. It’ll be a roasting showcase and Cummings is graciously offering herself up as the first roastee that a dais of Bob the Drag Queen, Jim Norton, Donnell Rawlings, Annie Lederman, Dan Levy, Robin Tran, and Luis J. Gomez will go to town on. To watch it, you’ll have to whip out $10/month for Only Fans’ exclusive streaming platform OFTV. We wouldn’t be surprised if that grants you access to many other things comedy and otherwise that are coming out on Only Fans down the line. Do note that Whitney Cummings won’t be publishing nudes on top of this (because you were wondering).

Given how many comedians put their hopes and prayers on self-producing a special, then releasing it on YouTube themselves will boost their profile for their upcoming road dates, it would be a curious thing to see Only Fans arise to fill a niche here. Sure, some channels on YouTube have been monetized, but you need to get so many thousands of subscribers to even make that happen. If comedy were to take off on Only Fans in a legitimate way, it could be a powerful tool to circumvent begging any of the big streamers or even some of the more fringe ones to buy your special and then get paid directly for all the labor that one would put into making a special/series/etc.

That said, let’s see how this first one goes in 2023 before a bunch of comedians that love trying to adopt everything early go all in on this.

Pick of Day: In Stitches-Hydrocephalus Association Benefit 11/19

One of the biggest benefit shows this week is dedicated to raising money in the fight for the deadly condition known as Hydrocephalus via the Hydrocephalus Association. The condition is caused by build-up of fluid in the brain and can currently only treated by brain surgery.

Annually, the Hydrocephalus Association puts on a big benefit show, In Stitches, and they’ve really outdone themselves this year with this 2020 virtual edition. For comedy, Whitney Cummings, Kurt Braunohler, Chris Estrada, Jamie Lee, Dan Levy and Esther Povitsky are on the bill, but there will also be a special musical performance from Natasha Bedingfield as well as some cameos from Debbie Allen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Max Greenfield, Neil Patrick Harris, Rachael Harris, Nigel Lythgoe, Wayne Brady, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Meghan Trainor.

That’s bordering on a mini-festival line-up and should make for a pretty swell Thursday evening this week.

In Stitches is virtually set for Thurs. Nov. 19th at 6PM PT/9PM ET. Tickets for the live-stream start at $50. There will also be a silent auction and a virtual red carpet starting at 5:30PM PT/8:30PM ET.

As you may well know, Wisconsin is a major swing state. As such, there are plenty of big fundraisers that are going towards making sure it swings left.

One of them, Laughing All the Way to the White House, will be one of the biggest comedy live-stream fundraisers that we’ve seen yet. Slated for this Tue. Oc.t 20th at 6PM PT/8PM CT/9PM ET, the live-stream will feature the likes of: Sarah Silverman, Sarah Cooper, Seth MacFarlane, Kumail Nanjiani, Mike Birbiglia, Hasan Minhaj, Lewis Black, Bassem Youssef, Chelsea Peretti, Whitney Cummings, Judd Apatow, Roy Wood Jr, Maria Bamford, Harry Shearer, Bradley Whitford, Sklar Brothers, Mandy Patinkin, Ahmed Ahmed, Cristela Alonzo, Greg Proops, Jackie Kashian, Will Forte, Ben Gleib, and more.

That’s a line-up worth catching in support of almost any cause. Taking Wisconsin back for the left just happens to be a really great cause to boot.

Access to the live-stream is available via donation. Do so here.
