As of the last couple of years, there has been a delightful proliferation of comedy dating shows that have popped up, but Lane Moore’s Tinder Live still holds a special place in our hearts (especially the part that wants to see the dating app be used to comedic perfection).

It has been awhile since Lane has fired up Tinder and shown a crowd full of raucous adoring fans the wild conversations and matches that she dives into in real time. So, we feel obligated to tell you that Lane, along with with special guests Tim Barnes and Brittany Luse, will be doing the latest edition of Tinder Live at Ridgewood, Brooklyn’s TV Eye on Thurs. Oct. 12th at 8PM. For our money, no one does Tinder better than Lane and watching Tinder Live is watching a true master at work.

When it comes to love and comedy, there is kind of no better option than Lane Moore‘s brilliant creation, Tinder Live, where she actually swipes and messages and gets into all other manner of dating hijinks via the popular dating app.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, you ought to know that Lane is doing a very special Valentine’s Day edition of her show and, again, we’re pretty sure it’s your best bet for comedy when corporatized love is in the air (even if you’re rolling solo that day/weekend). This Valentine’s round of Tinder Live will feature special guest NYC comedians Gabe Gonzalez, Anna Borges, and Dan Chamberlain and happen Sat. Feb. 11th at 8PM at the show’s Brooklyn home, Littlefield.

It should be a given, whether you follow us closely here at The Comedy Bureau or not, that Tinder Live with Lane Moore is an absolute must see show whenever it plays even remotely close to you wherever you are. It’s one of the most electric shows simply from Lane’s undeniable charm and whipsmart wit while diving headfirst into Tinder.

NYC gets treated to Lane’s Tinder escapades on a monthly basis at Littlefield in Brooklyn, but we wanted to highlight this one a little more as indie comedy legend Janeane Garofalo will be the featured guest that will be offering her hallowed counsel on whatever dating profiles come across Lane’s screen. As cases of COVID-19 are still on the rise once more from both the Omicron and Delta variants, the air of caution that you might have had months ago pervades every moment again. Thus, you are likely thinking twice or thrice about doing certain things that had you gather with folks indoors (hopefully vaccinated and masked).

So, virtual comedy, though out might have thought it died out, is still around (that’s a pretty good thing, no?) and luckily, the amazing Lane Moore is going virtual for her latest Tinder Live (the smash hit improvised comedy experience where Lane and choice panelists go through Lane’s Tinder profile and matches and have nothing but chaotic fun) over at Moment House this Thurs. Dec. 30th at 6PM PT/9PM ET.

Tinder Live! f*ck this f*cking virus is not only set for a fun night in on New Year’s Eve Eve, but will be available for replay for 72 hours after it streams. If you haven’t heard us sing the praises of the hysterical comedy rollercoaster that is Tinder Live! with Lane Moore, know that Moore’s diving into Tinder completely live on stage with a panel of great funny folks is very much one of our favorite things that we’ve ever seen.

So, this 9/11, you might want to make plans, if you’re in Los Angeles, to go to an LA edition of Tinder Live! that’s happening at The Echo at 6PM PT (proof of vaccination required). For this round, Lane has Grace Helbig and Mara Wilson joining her in her Tinder adventures/misadventures.

Hands down, one of the most electrifying and fun (and hopeful) comedy shows out there is Tinder Live! with Lane Moore. In addition to being an acclaimed comedian/author/frontwoman of a band, Moore has made an indelible mark in current comedy landscape by improvising her way through the dating app Tinder live on stage. This week’s TCB Field Report follows Lane as she revives the in-person version of Tinder Live! for a giant 30+ city nationwide tour (after having to cancel a nationwide tour for lockdown, then rescheduling it so many times due to the pandemic enduring and also doing it virtually to great success). Also, “hot” takes on NYC’s vax mandate, The Comedy Co-op, and more.

One of the shows that you should all be most excited about coming back in person is the always electric and romantically mischievous Tinder LIVE! with Lane Moore. Lane had been doing her brilliant show where she works Tinder live on stage, often with the audience playing a huge part, all over the country before lockdown.

Of course, that all came to a screeching halt in March last year, but Lane is now set to not only do a date in Brooklyn at the beloved Littlefield, but is going on a legitimate nationwide Tinder LIVE! with Lane Moore Tour. The Littlefield show will be in person on Fri. Jun. 25th at 8PM ET, but also be available for live-stream, and will be featuring very special guests Joanna Hausmann and Frank Coniff of MST3K. The prospect of big time arts festival in person this Summer still seems a little dicey even though things in America are racing as fast as they can to reopen.

That’s why there’s still plenty of stacked virtual events, some of which span the length of a whole day as a literal virtual festival bringing together music, comedy, podcasts, and more. One such happening coming up is FRQNCY1 that will virtually present, thanks to Elsewhere in Brooklyn, comedic performances by Chapo Trap House and Tinder Live with Lane Moore as well as sets by Zola Jesus, Pom Pom Squad, and more.

On top of putting on a one-day virtual festival worth tuning into on a Sunday, a portion of the proceeds will go to NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) supporting so many music venues that had to go dark for the last year.

For all the feels that Valentine’s Day brings up normally (that are especially amplified by the isolation), one of the perfect shows for this particular lockdown tinged edition of Valentine’s Day is Lane Moore‘s wildly fun Tinder Live!

If you’re unfamiliar, Lane makes a show out of navigating through Tinder, matching and messaging folks of all kinds and following wherever those rabbit holes lead, narrating the whole way through. It was one of the most fun things to see before the pandemic and we think it’ll be one of the best livestreams to catch on Valentine’s no matter what you’re situation is (i.e. quarantining with or without someone).

Earlier this year, we naively hoped this pandemic would be well over by now. At that time, we were looking forward to a potential, in-person Tinder Live! with Lane Moore to lift our spirits for a 2020 that was already godawful before it got way worst.

Lane Moore‘s live show, where she boldly swipes and messages all sorts of folks on Tinder in front of a crowd, is a rollicking, raucous, yet very sweet time. She had been touring it all over the place in years past and was set to do the same this year, but everything got cancelled/postponed/etc. because of COVID-19.

Going into December with so much of the U.S. put on reinforced pandemic safety protocols, Moore is aiming to do a virtual Tinder Live! on Sat. Dec. 19th at 6PM PT/9PM ET via On Location Live. If she wanted, Lane could even open up her search distance much further since the whole world can tune into this live-stream and we’re all in lockdown anyway (minus New Zealand and Taiwan).

One of the crazier things you’ll ever see live on stage is the dating odyssey that Lane Moore embarks on as she displays a live feed from her Tinder on her phone and narrates her twists and turns through any and all swipes, matches, threads, etc. and letting the audience even somewhat sway what happens. Moore is so open and warm and so damn fun that the chaos is pretty damn fun.

Moore has been touring with this one of a kind, insanely bold social experiment/comedy show as it’s truly unforgettable

The latest edition of Tinder Live with Lane Moore is set for Sat. May 16th at 9PM at The Bootleg Theater. Tickets are $25 and you best get them now as we won’t be surprised at all if they sell out.

Tinder extraordinaire Lane Moore (Lane has indeed figured out a way to be good at Tinder) is returning to LA for another round, this time at The Regent in DTLA on Tuesday, May 1st at 7PM.

She’ll be going through Tinder swiping, messaging, and causing a bunch of fun chaos on the dating app for the show, which is pretty damn entertaining.
