TBS Orders Police Procedural Spoof Pilot From Steve Carell
Called ‘Tribeca’, there’s undoubtedly going to be a crosstown rival dynamic that will happen with Brooklyn Nine Nine if Steve Carell’s pilot goes to series at TBS.
A book with the likes of Steve Martin, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Eddie Murphy, and many many more in it definitely deserves the attention of any comedy fan, which is why Matt Hoyle’s Comic Genius: Portraits of Funny People
Basically, there’s a lot of hysterical people captured in beautiful images, so maybe you should check it out/buy it, not to mention that the book supports the charity Save The Children.
Fox made quite the moves yesterday in regards to their comedy slate.
They nabbed both a reality competition series to be produced by Steve Carell as well as a sitcom set in a Fisherman’s Wharf by Family Guy’s own Kevin Biggins and Travis Bowe.
Hopefully, these will go to air instead of being shopped around to other networks like Murder Police.
All the promotion for the upcoming sequel to Anchorman, Anchorman 2 has been the goofy fun we’ve come to know and love and hasn’t really even shown any of the movie yet.

TBS will be one of the first channels/networks to offer complete access to whatever’s playing on air to those who choose to watch online. This means you’ll be able to watch Conan, Deon Cole and Pete Holmes’ upcoming shows, and possibly a police procedural comedy from Steve and Nancy Carell currently in development.
Now the question will become: If you’re streaming TBS online, do you still have to watch all these shows during their airtime?
From this trailer, the Nat Faxon/Jim Rash written & directed ‘The Way, Way Back’ has the makings for one solid coming-of-age comedy with a cast of Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Toni Colette, Rob Corddry, and more, not to mention the Oscar winning duo of Faxon and Rash (they won an Oscar for The Descendants) helming and writing it.
Keep a close watch for this coming to theaters.
There Might Be Promise In This Feuding Paleontologist Movie With Steve Carell and James Gandolfini
1) It’ll be an HBO movie. 2) It’s based off of true story of actual feuding paleontologists. 3) It’s starring both Steve Carell and James Gandolfini.
Based off those three things alone, you should keep watch for a trailer.
One of the best bits on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is when Fallon brings up that they worked on a Canadian soap opera, “Jacob Patience”, and the guest being interviewed was hard to work with because they demanded to use fake arms.
