The lengths and depths of humanity that Forest MacNeil (Andy Daly) has been subjected to while doing two seasons of Review are beyond comprehension.
Yet, this trailer reveals a third and final season that somehow gets Forrest to go through the gauntlet yet again and put his life and the lives of others in plenty of danger for the sake of reviewing the “human experience”.
It is one of the best shows that Comedy Central has ever made.
See for yourself in this trailer and then look for the season 3 premiere of Review next week on Thursday, March 16th.
Third and Final Season of “Review” to Premiere on March 16
Forrest MacNeil and his never ending quest to review “life” no matter how it ruins his life will have its final chapters starting Thursday, March 16th on Comedy Central.
This is without a doubt one of the best series that Comedy Central has made and Andy Daly gives Forrest a weirdly undeniable charm despite making pretty much nothing but awful decisions every step of the way.
It seems to be the first time in a long time that many networks are staying the course with the majority of their programming.
Announced via press release, Comedy Central’s renewals and extensions are officially as follows:
Tosh.0 renewed for season 9
Not Safe with Nikki Glaser season 1 extended for 10 more episodes
Drunk History renewed for season 4
Review starring Andy Daly renewed for and will end season 3
This Is Not Happening with Ari Shaffir renewed for season 3
Digital series Alternatino from Arturo Castro, Questionable Science with Rich Fulcher, and Nothin’s Easy from David Angelo all renewed for season 2.
It’s unfortunate to see Review go, but Not Safe with Nikki Glaser is get due reward for being pretty awesome from the get go.

Rather than having to bend the rules of the universe they have created, Andy Daly and the team at Review are letting Forrest MacNeil get some peace… probably.
Review is one of the shows that is at the core of Comedy Central’s current renaissance, both in the writing, execution, and the fantastic work done by the show’s star Andy Daly. So, they’re going to preserve the integrity of the show and have an abbreviated 3rd season that might be as short as three episodes or even shown as a movie to tie up the mess that MacNeil has made of his life over and over again.
While it’s sad to see Review come to a close, it is great that Daly is ending it on his terms.
With his life and well-being constantly in danger, one might wonder how the close of the second season of Review might come about without just outright killing host Forrest MacNeil and living up to the fight at the end of season one.
Well, the show ingeniously has Forrest review conspiracy theories, which leads him to create a conspiracy theory about the reviews he’s assigned. That’s as much as we’ll say for fear of spoiling of anything else.
Throughout the history of being unlucky, Forrest MacNeil has to be one of the unluckiest people to have ever lived.
Of course, he really pushes his bad luck by putting himself in completely unnecessary situations like reviewing the experience of being happy no matter the circumstances.
Watch what Forrest/Andy Daly got himself into this time here.
Andy Daly continues to marvel with his comedic prowess as life reviewer Forrest MacNeil on Review, attempting to review those Magic 8-Balls that would offer a more or less affirmative answer to questions that you posed to it.
Watch what could go wrong absolutely go wrong with such a simple endeavor here.
Things not only keep going further south for Forrest MacNeil on Review, but get worst on top of that.
Case in point: his latest review of being buried alive and the announcement he gets while being buried alive.
Forrest MacNeil’s life he been ruined in so many ways over the course of a season and a half of Review with reviewing many of the darker aspects of humanity.
So, naturally, getting a lighter topic like public speaking would only leave him to explore the more catastrophic possibilities of such an act.
Watch how that would happen here.
If only Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly had to review on Review what it would be like to be the world’s unluckiest man, he would, for once, merely present his life as he has unfortunately lived it.
Just watch his reviews for making a birthday wish come true and taking a peaceful sojourn to see Forrest go through his own personal circles of hells.
Perhaps one of the most famous shoe reviewers right now, Brad Hall, who reviews basketball shoes while in pleated khakis and a button down, has got his hands on the Under Armour Curry One, Stephen Curry’s signature shoe, as well as some good life news.
Find out what the deal is with both of those things with Hall’s latest unboxing/review video here.
Here’s more proof that if you’re not watching Review starring Andy Daly, then you’re making a huge mistake.
A recent review that Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly is tasked with on the show is what it’s like to be in a haunted house. Naturally, Forrest went to the house that his ex-wife and himself used to live in.
You might think that Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly has gone all out for his previous reviews by literally putting himself in harm’s way.
However, this latest review of trying to be a little person pushes Forrest to get more inventive than he has ever before.
Forrest’s latest review on Review had him to get laid on an airplane while in flight as the sole requirement of joining the ‘Mile High Club’, the experience he had been asked to review.
Given everything you know about Forrest and how things usually go for him on Review, you’d know that he’ll probably be able to handle pulling this feat off.
Just watch and see what happens and if he actually gets membership to the mile high club.
After coming to peace with the self-destruction he plummeted into season one, Forrest MacNeil got right back into putting his life literally on the line in season two as his first review was for “bare knuckle brawling”.
Watch things go south for Forrest quicker than they did in season 1 here.
It’s on tonight at 10PM on Comedy Central. Be sure to watch live or DVR it or stream it later.
In a single season, Andy Daly has created an absolutely indelible character, Forrest MacNeil, that TV history will remember fondly for all the times he has taken a perfectly good life and ruined it for what he thinks is the betterment of humankind.
So, once again, don’t miss season 2 of Forrest’s attempt to review life and possible descent into madness tonight.
Our favorite intrepid reviewer of life, Forrest MacNeil, is finally back and wasting no time in delving into the great quandaries of life.
In this particular case, that quandary just happens to be one of glory holes.
Watch Forrest begin his journey for this review here, then look for the premiere of season 2 of Review on July 30th on Comedy Central.
Season 1 of Review made Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly almost lose everything. Family, friends, sense of self and purpose, and more seem to fall away one by one with each review that Forrest took on.
Yet, despite a temporary disappearance, MacNeil is back on to doing his duty for mankind by reviewing whatever is asked of him as evidenced in this trailer for season 2.
Apparently, such important duty involves having an arrow shot at an apple on his head, glory holes, prison, and more.
Please mark your calendars for the season 2 premiere of Review on July 30th at 10PM on Comedy Central.
The phrase “our long national nightmare is finally over” seldom applies more than it does with the return of Review’s host Forrest MacNeil.

Our guess is that you should look for Andy Daly somewhere in LA, perhaps with an Irish accent.
If you’re wondering how many pancakes Andy Daly had to eat in the first season of Review, your question has been finally answered.
Andy Daly is the latest guest to have some fancy cocktails and an intimate chat with Paul F. Tompkins on his Speakeasy web series and they talk all things Review, The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project as well as delve into some of the psychology behind all of Daly’s various characters on stage, screen, and the Internet.
Comedy Central Renews Review, Inside Amy Schumer, and TripTank, and Orders a Bunch of New Series
As far as we’re concerned, Comedy Central really has stepped up its programming over the last couple of years and did a great job in re-imagining and expanding their brand.
So, it comes as great news, but no surprise to us that they renewed Review and TripTank for second seasons and Inside Amy Schumer for a third season on top of ordering Another Period with Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome and Idiotsitter with Jillian Bell and Charlotte Newhouse to series.
They also have ordered six new web series for CC:Studios: 6 Guys 1 Car, 300 Sunnyside, New Timers, Pie Guys, Roustabout with Kurt Braunohler and Team Tiger Awesome.
It’s a pretty great time for Comedy Central right now.
