Please Enjoy Possibly the Raunchiest and (Most Informative) Song About “Wine Country” from Lost Moon Radio

December 21, 2020

When it comes to Lost Moon Radio, you can count on high brow and low brow being so perfectly blended and balanced.

That’s exactly what you get with one of their brand new songs from their very first exclusively virtual show, Lost Moon Radio’s Doing Fine, from two months ago, Wine Country. We have not heard every rap song about wine, but we’re almost willing to bet money that the good folks at Lost Moon Radio came up with a hysterically dirty song about journeying through California’s storied wine country, performed flawless by Lauren Flans. Also, they made sure there are plenty of great facts and terminology that you learn along the way while bopping your head to so much wine based innuendo.

So, please enjoy Lost Moon Radio’s Wine Country here and maybe you can plan your own trip to live this fantasy far off in 2021.

And Now for a Very Appropriate 2020 Anthem from Lost Moon Radio “F*ck! (Keep Hope Alive)”

Getting to co-present Lost Moon Radio‘s first virtual show was a true blessing and break from the lingering, waking nightmare that we’re living in right now. We might have told you already, but we’d like to say it again that Lost Moon Radio’s Doing Fine exceeded its fundraising goal for A Place Called Home and got over $1000 that will go to supporting arts programs for vastly underserved youth.

If you didn’t get a chance to tune in, you missed some of the best sketch comedy we’ve seen through the course of quarantine. You certainly missed on what very well could be an anthem for 2020 by Lost Moon Radio, the aptly titled single, F*ck (Keep Hope Alive). Maybe it’ll even be the “Song of the Winter” considering more chaos is ahead and another rise in COVID-19 cases.

Luckily, you can enjoy/commiserate/scream the chorus in unison with the music video for F*ck (Keep Hope Alive) right here.

Pick of the Day: Lost Moon Radio’s Doing Fine 10/27

Running for just a tad bit longer than us here at TCB, the musical sketch comedy extravaganza that is Lost Moon Radio has been one of our favorite comedy troupes during our entire tenure as a bureau of comedy. Their highly inventive, innovative way to present finely crafted comedy that’s intellectually satisfying, gutturally funny, and even emotionally resonant really captivated us from the first time that we saw them several years ago down at Cafe Fais Do-Do.
That’s why we’re very proud to be partnering with them to present their very first virtual show, done out of safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aptly titled, Lost Moon Radio’s Doing Fine. Per usual there will be Lost Moon Radio‘s splendidly curated batch of bits and songs, but it’ll be done all over YouTube Live. It will be quite the feat considering that they always have quite a sizable cast and always feature a grand, live band at every one of their shows.
On top of all of that, a portion of the profits for the show go to the wonderful local org A Place Called Home. They are dedicated to providing crucial arts and after school programs for the youth of South LA.

Lost Moon Radio’s Doing Fine will stream on YouTube Live on Tues. Oct. 27th at 7PM PT/10PM ET (“Doors” 6:45PM PT/9:45PM ET).

YouTube link will be sent to e-mail after donating ($10-$20 suggested). Get on those tickets right now right here.

An entire decade has passed since the gathering of Lost Moon Radio has dazzled audiences in LA and abroad.
Part theater company, part sketch comedy troupe, part musical comedy extravaganza, the players, writers, and good folks behind the scenes delivered a theatrical musical comedy unlike nearly anything we’ve seen and have been doing so for this whole ten year run.
So, we really think you ought to join them for the Lost Moon Radio 10 Year Anniversary Spectacular at Club Fais Do-Do next weekend. Tickets are $20 for what we’re sure will be a barnburner of a show. Go get them here.
P.S. Our loyal followers can snag $15 tickets for Sat. Dec. 14th with promo code “COMEDYBUREAU”.
