If you are deathly concerned for the environment and the human effect on it or, recently, became deathly concerned for it due to so many scientific reports pointing towards even more climate related disasters than we’ve already had to endure in the last few years, you might want to go to this particular comedy show, Conservation Comedy next week.

Brought to you by Sara Newton (Big Litter Ocean), it’s both a comedy show and edutainment about plastic pollution in association with Plastic Oceans LA. Not only will you very likely be with other folks that want the wildfires, hurricanes, flooding, and more to stop on such a disastrous scale, but you’ll get to enjoy the really, really great comedy stylings of Sheng Wang, Brooklyn Jones, Kristen Studard, and MK Paulsen.

This latest edition of Conservation Comedy is set for Tues. Sept. 21st at 6PM PT at the Warehouse Restaurant right on the marina in Marina Del Rey. You can come and enjoy the show for free (you can donate to Conservation Comedy as well)!

The somewhat controlled chaos of Late Late Breakfast is finally back with more hysterical, insane challenges for LA favorites in stand-up to attempt while doing their sets.

Hosts Tyler Jackson and Danny Maupin will be at Lyric Hyperion in Silverlake this time around on Sat. Jul. 20th at 4PM. Tickets are only $5 for what is truly a beautifully bonkers experience.

Please go get tickets here.

For years now, we’ve marveled at the many stunning facets of Kristen Studard’s comedy that includes characters, improv, short film, and stand-up. There is always something wonderfully off-beat about everything she does, which is why we’re excited for her upcoming solo show Prolonged Eye Contact (apparently, there will be actual, intentional prolonged eye contact during the show too) at the Lyric Hyperion.

The show’s description, which we enjoyed, reads:

Prolonged Eye Contact is a an interactive solo show by comedian Kristen Studard about the search for love, connection, and approval by one performer with one audience. Kristen would like to be loved by you, monogamously. (She’s a one-audience type of gal.) What happens when someone won’t break eye contact? Uh oh, shit just got real. Through a series of characters, a game show, and an erotic encounter with a bee, Kristen woos you by opening her heart and her eyes and looking right into your soul. Are you ready to be seen?

She has three performances that you can catch from Thurs. Aug. 23rd-Sat. Aug. 25th at 10PM. Tickets are $10 and you can (and really, really should) get them here.

Please Enjoy Kristen Studard’s Surrealist Comedy Web Series “Kristen Does Her Best”

Mutli-hyphenate comedian Kristen Studard has made this great, trippy, and very personal web series Kristen Does Her Best. It shows her making the very well known struggle of making it in LA, but Kristen’s imagination takes it to a whole other great and weird place.

Watch all five episodes in full, together as a pilot of sorts (we’d recommend that) or watch them separately: one, two, three, four, and five.
