The wonderful Beth Stelling graced our screens once again last night by performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Per usual with Stelling, Beth’s was a genuine delight as well as a hilarious story about her mom having to change phone service providers.

Unfortunately, Fox‘s Mulaney has had a rough start with ratings and reviews and John did not shy away from that. However, Kimmel gave John an unexpected positive twist on the situation.

Rather than a trailer or quotes pulled from favorable reviews from critics, Lifetime should have their marketing campaign lead by Aubrey Plaza’s explanation of Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
She can’t believe what went down with her voicing one of the most famous cats on the Internet, notes that this movie is historic, and uses the word “insane” more than once when describing working on it.
Those are pretty good selling points as far as we’re concerned. If you’re so inclined to now watch Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, it premieres on Lifetime on Nov. 29th at 8PM.
The comeback of “The Comeback” at HBO is less than two weeks away and many of you still might be wondering how the show was revived after being canceled several years later, just out of the blue.
In doing the rounds on the talk show circuit, Lisa Kudrow revealed on Kimmel that there was a whole younger generation that was into The Comeback that she had no idea was around until the last couple years.
Thus, Nov. 9th 10pm will see the return of The Comeback seemingly thanks to a lot of ardent fans.
Hong Kong, Malaysia, Tokyo, Seoul, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, and The Netherlands are all stops that Tenacious D will be hitting a month after they get through Festival Supreme.
Both Jack and Kyle have yet to rock as The D in Asia and are most certainly looking forward to it as you can see during their interview on Kimmel last night.

So, Bill Hader used to work on The Playboy Channel’s Night Calls as a P.A. to porn stars, which was not as great as it might sound. He also co-wrote a sketch with John Mulaney involving the late Casey Kasem.

Matt Damon Will Be on Jimmy Kimmel Live vs. Leno’s Final Night at Tonight Show
While NBC is sure to grab ratings from their late night succession coming up, Jimmy Kimmel isn’t going to just let that night slide.
On Jay Leno’s final night of hosting The Tonight Show, Matt Damon will return, “in theory”, to Jimmy Kimmel Live in a much less “King-of-Comedy-esque” way.
Of course, Kimmel and Damon have something planned, as one of the best guest-hosts bits on late night, but, who knows, they may just “run out of time”.

This might be the first time that a late night talk show visits a big time festival for a week of shows. Well, we’re glad that Jimmy Kimmel Live is taping a week of shows at SXSW and we have a feeling that Kimmel is going to pull out all the stops for fake band names and asking if SXSW goers have seen them.
White House Addresses Jimmy Kimmel’s China Joke
Thanks to thousands upon thousands of people outraged last year over a joke apparently “at China’s expense” during a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The White House had to take the time to not deal with more pressing matters and say that they can’t cancel Jimmy Kimmel Live because of the right to free speech.
Good job all of you outraged enough at an joke that hinges on its high level of absurdity to ignore the problems with healthcare, social security, etc. etc. on not knowing the U.S. government doesn’t have the time or could care less about shutting down something like Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Oh, in case you couldn’t figure it out in the previous sentence because you were a person that signed that petition, we were being sarcastic.
While on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Will Ferrell broke down his trailblazing promotional tour for Anchorman 2 and basically what he got away with doing over the last few months like doing actual news, color commentating on curling, etc.

Jimmy Kimmel Live gave a sneak peak of the new season of Billy On The Street that doesn’t premiere until March.

The White House Will Have to Waste Time Addressing a Joke From ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
A petition has been signed by enough people to address a joke during segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live that was apparently offensive to Chinese people.
The White House will now have to take a little, but still precious time away from solving The Affordable Health Care Act or other foreign policy debacles we shouldn’t be involved in just to deal with something that the Internet can just argue over until both sides get tired and further entrenched.
Larry David stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his upcoming HBO film Clear History, premiering Aug. 10th, and also, apparently, to do a scene of sorts of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
