Pick of the Day: Murray Hill-A Little Murray Christmas (in NYC) 12/13-12/17

If you’re looking for more and more holidays centric based comedy, there isn’t much better than the annual tradition that is Murray Hill’s A Murray Little Christmas. A comedy variety extravaganza spanning several nights, Murray Hill uses his clout as the universally chummy and charismatic”Mr. Showbiz” to put together several stacked line-ups of NYC’s best to make even the most Grinch-y folks have a good laugh.

Special guests have yet to be announced, but the bill will not disappoint if you go get tickets right now.

This 2022 edition of A Murray Little Christmas is set to run from Tues. Dec. 13th-Sun. Dec. 17th at Joe’s Pub in NYC. Tickets range from $25-$45 and you can (and should) go get them here.

Frankie Quinones iconic character Creeper from the hysterical CholoFit™ workout video series is putting on a very special holiday themed stand-up comedy night at the wonderful Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theater. We have no doubt that you’ll get a workout from both laughing and whatever holiday “exercises” that Creeper is going to share. 

Also, “proceeds will benefit The Andy Vargas Foundation helping scholarship funding for underprivileged youth in California.”

Every year Jen Kirkman puts on the sort of a holiday show that’s a swell time whether you love or hate this time of year. The Jen Kirkman Dysfunctional Xmas Show is one of the very few holiday traditions we can get behind as Jen and guests putting on a lovely comedy and music extravaganza despite what’s going on with the world/family/etc.

Oh, also, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the LA Food Bank and Barnes & Noble will be collecting children’s books for donation as well.

If you’ve always liked the idea of playing “White Elephant” (the competitive holiday gift exchange game that often includes gifts that you wouldn’t give to people you care about), but wanted to do in a much less low stakes conditions, the very first White Elephant Live might just be for you.

Comedians and audience members alike will be going around trying to win at gift giving and there will even be a special holiday dance by the one and only Emmy award winning choreographer Kat Burns.

It is the holidays. As such, we will be marking the occasion, with no particular favoritism towards any specific holiday, for all The Comedy Bureau faithful.

So, Deep Eddy Vodka, DoLA and TCB present a MANDATORY HOLIDAY OFFICE PARTY full of non-denominational, non-partisan “fun”. You will look forward to enjoying performances by Rory Scovel, Kyle Kinane, Andrés du Bouchet, Jamie Loftus, The Wheel Show, and TCB’s own Jake Kroeger.

*We also have required for this event to have free popcorn

Deep Eddy Vodka will be presenting a curated menu of cocktails to ensure a “good time” will be had.

Your attendance at the Mandatory Holiday Office Party at The Echoplex will be expected on Tuesday, December 12th with doors opening at 8PM and the show starting at 9PM.

An a capella trio of (and band of mischievous comedians) Randy Liedtke, Davey Johnson, and Curt Neill AKA The John 3 Reillys are putting on a holiday show that will probably be unlike any other. Seeing whether this has anything to do with John C. Reilly should peak your curiosity at the very least

The John 3 Reillys Christmas Special, presented by Trepany House, is set for next Friday at the Steve Allen Theater and will also feature such wonderful guests as Kate Micucci, Derek Hughes, Karen Kilgariff, and Katie Crown.
