Today, Senator Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton in a move to unite Democrats in defeating Trump.

With that in mind, James Adomian, who has played Bernie in Trump vs. Bernie for awhile now, made this farewell message that the real Sanders should consider playing at his next public appearance.

Though James Corden is embarking on a whole summer without David Letterman as a lead-in, he is thankful that he’s gotten to follow Dave at all.

Thus, pretty much the whole of last night’s Late Late Show, which followed The Late Show with David Letterman finale, was in dedication to Dave.

From a duet, kind of, with Sting in front of The Ed Sullivan Theater to Corden’s introduction to Letterman (since they don’t have The Late Show in the UK) to…

Already, you’ve heard from Conan O’Brien and Jon Stewart on Dave’s departure from The Late Show.

So, as today’s the final day of The Late Show with David Letterman, the rest of the late night world gave their parting wishes.

Jimmy Kimmel gave one of his most heartfelt, sincere moments in his farewell to Dave.

Jimmy Fallon gave thanks to Dave for paving the way for what late night is now.

Seth Meyers told his favorite Letterman story as well as recreated the opening credits of Late Night a la Dave’s version.

There will be more of these to come to be sure.

We’re not sure who you are reading this, but we’re guessing you’re not one of the final few guests booked to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Still, if you want to say thank you to David Letterman like all those fancy guests are doing, you can give it a shot here.

Though not officially affiliated with CBS or Worldwide Pants, our friend Adam Spiegelman has put together a Tumblr where you can share your story about how Letterman not only changed the face of comedy, but affected you personally as well.

Hopefully, any and all of any age can see how much Dave means to several generations of folks who aren’t Tina Fey, Martin Short, Jerry Seinfeld, or Steve Martin.

Thanks, David Letterman is a nice crowdsourced goodbye to a legend.

Watch Steve Martin’s Farewell to David Letterman

Just in case you wondering, Steve Martin’s still got it.

Save for some sort of big star studded musical number at the final episode of The Late Show, Steve Martin made his final appearance and chatted with his old pal David Letterman.

He even made a “touching” video tribute to Letterman both in what he has done and what he’ll possibly do.

Martin also had one “final gift” for Dave to remember him by.

While Letterman is gone in less than a month, we hope Martin will continue showing up on late night to do bits.

Stephen Colbert Signs Off From The Colbert Report Into Eternity With Star-Studded Farewell

Bryan Cranston, Katie Couric, Jeff Daniels, Big Bird, Willie Nelson, Hoda Kotb, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Jon Stewart, Abraham Lincoln, Cookie Monster, and way, way more gathered to say goodbye to the character known as Stephen Colbert and his program on Comedy Central, The Colbert Report last night after its now renowned 9 year run.

However, it wouldn’t be consistent with The Colbert Report to just a big music number and end like typical late night shows. The ‘Report’ has been anything but typical. In fact, it’s been revolutionary and, as such, “Stephen” goes off into this particular good night, as he’s always been, still in amazing, hysterical character.

Watch the big musical farewell and the last words of “Stephen Colbert” before he becomes Stephen Colbert now.

A Ton of Celebrities and Comedians Sing a Farewell to Chelsea Handler and Chelsea Lately

Last night was the very last episode in Chelsea Handler’s 7 year run at E! as the titular host of Chelsea Lately. To mark the occasion, she got 50 Cent, Miley Cyrus, Tim Gunn, Gwen Stefani, Dave Grohl, Melissa McCarthy, Sandra Bullock, Gerard Butler, Fergie, Jennifer Aniston, Avril Lavigne and so many other A-listers as well as so many of the comedians who have been/worked on the show including Fortune Feimster, Kurt Braunohler, Sarah Colonna, Kevin Nealon, Ian Karmel, Claire Titleman, Matt Braunger, Ron Funches, and way more to do a big farewell musical number.

It’s a touching sentiment that all these people came together and sang a song all about Chelsea Handler, but we would like to point out that around 1:27, TJ Miller is wearing the best suit ever and around 2:15, Natasha Leggero might be holding the best portrait that’s ever been held up during a farewell song.
