The Late Late Show with James Corden *WINNER*
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Host TJ Miller both co-starred Deadpool and is part of the ensemble cast of Silicon Valley, which both took home Critics Choice Awards last night. This might make TJ the biggest winner of the evening.

The Late Late Show with James Corden also continues its ascent in late night by winning over all the satirical news shows and Fallon, which is pretty astounding considering that Fallon is still a ratings leader and Sam Bee, John Oliver, and Trevor Noah got special focus because of the election.

The election also put special focus on SNL with highlighting both Kate McKinnon and Alec Baldwin in their respective impressions of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and resulted in their Critics Choice wins.

Meryl Streep continues her dominance with awards in general as she indeed play a historically bad singer perfectly in Florence Foster Jenkins.

Don’t forget that FX has a nice showing here as well with wins for Louie Anderson on Baskets and Donald Glover on Atlanta. It’s further proof that FX’s programming line-up can stand with the premium cable and streaming networks.

Also, we’re glad to see BoJack Horseman taking home Best Animated Series as the show continues to evolve and get more emotionally and satisfyingly complex.

Actually, it’s in a few hours at 5PM PST/8PM EST on A&E.

Also, TJ has tweeted, “I will address the elephant in the room at @CriticsChoice on A&E. Tune in and find out.”

He may be referring Trump or his very recent arrest or something else altogether. Like he said, tune and find out.

In any case, TJ will undoubtedly put on a show to remember.

T.J. Miller Indeed Made It a Night to Remember at Last Night’s Critics Choice Awards

For all of those that thought T.J. Miller’s brand of chaos could really go either way as the host of the 2016 Critics Choice Awards, we hope you were watching the broadcast last night. Miller really went for it on his terms with his monologue that involved a gigantic multiple puppet contraption and all his bits in between the awards being handed out.

T.J. had a ball gown cannon (it’s exactly what it sounds like)…

…he read his worst review on stage…

…and, of course, did a Yogi Bear 3D (a film not favored well by critics) bit.

We sincerely hope this amount to many more hosting gigs for T.J.

Sunday will not stop me. @CriticsChoice @AETV I will host and people will laugh, cry, and vomit. pic.twitter.com/TM9YZ3Hlgu

At 5PM PST, 8PM EST, T.J. Miller will ensue with whatever his plan is to host The Critics Choice Awards, despite “warnings”

The broadcast is live on A&E and it might be worth switching back and forth between the democratic presidential candidate debate.

During Colbert Interview, T.J. Miller Showed That We’re Going to Get One Hell of a Show at The Critics Choice Awards

The main thing that you can be sure with T.J. Miller is at the helm of a show is that you’ll see something that will defy logic in a complex and layered way and also make you double over laughing at the same time.

His latest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is proof of that and we’re hoping the same sort of wave of delightful abandon will be ridden by Miller throughout The Critics Choice Awards this Sunday.

When TJ Miller’s name was called for the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series award at last night’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards, TJ, one for delightful mischief at awards ceremonies, took upon himself to do a bit reminiscent of his Conan in Chicago appearance.

Whether he had this fully planned or not, it’s still pretty great. Watch it here.
