Keith Malley of the Keith and the Girl having 9 comedy albums under his belt already decided to do something a little different from his 10th by doing a performance of his best material from those previous records, but done clean… well, trying to do it clean anyway. The very funny Joe Starr has just released his debut comedy album, which you can get on Bandcamp for $5.
Yes, there’s a giant robotic cat as the album cover, which should be even more enticing as opposed to the general medium shot of a comedian making a weird face.
Liam McEneaney, very funny comedian and force behind Tell Your Friends, just released his debut comedy album from AST Records, Comedian.
Maybe pick it up and give it a listen while you’re supposedly not having anything to watch tonight?
A Special Things Records comes out with another awesome release in Jimmy Pardo’s Sprezzatura. A king of crowd work and riffing and the reference you’ll bust up laughing at when you get home and Google it, Pardo showcases all of that during one night at Go Bananas Comedy Club in Cincinnati.

Joe Zimmerman who you hopefully know from his being a great quarter of The Beards of Comedy or this great joke about President Andrew Jackson is recording his first solo comedy album that you can and should attend if you can get to the Lexington Ave. Brewery on Fri. Nov. 15th or Sat. Nov. 16th.
Yes, Asheville, NC is not very close at all to LA, but Joe’s that funny that you should check this out if you can or, at the very least, buy the album when it comes out.
Almost a year ago, wonderful comedian/storyteller Tom Shillue set out to release a comedy album every month for a year, which would, of course, amount to 12 albums over the course of 12 months. That’s roughly twelve times the pace of Louis CK’s special a year pace and Shillue, we’re happy to say, has almost reached his goal.
The 11th album “Heyday” is coming out next week on Sept. 24th. If you want to catch up on the rest of this amazing feat from someone you should be listening to if they just release an album anyway, here are the other 10 albums.

Patrice O’Neal’s “Unreleased” Available Now as Digital Download
The latest posthumous album to be released from Patrice O’Neal clearly titled “Unreleased” featuring some of his renowned crowd work is slated to come out as a physical CD in the beginning of October, but, if you just want to do a digital download for $10, you can get it from Patrice’s site right now.
Not only did he pull of raising enough money to skywrite a joke on a weekday afternoon here in LA, but Kurt Braunohler is an amazing stand up comedian and you should really pick up his first comedy album “How Do I Land?” from Kill Rock Stars.

Joe DeRosa’s comedy album titles are pretty fantastic including “The Depression Auction” and“Return of The Son of Depression Auction”. To finish off the hat trick for album names, DeRosa’s latest is simply called “You will die."
If that doesn’t already peak your interest, know that Joe is pretty damn funny and that this latest album You will die. is now on pre-order for an October release. Given the title’s name, you should probably just get in on this while you can.

Mr. P and Better Than You have been two recordings that have been released since the passing of Patrice O’Neal. Now a third full length album entitled “Unreleased” is coming next month and let’s all be thankful that O’Neal’s comedy keeps living on.

Max Silvestri Recording Debut Comedy Album for AST in August
The Nerdmelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics is becoming quite the place to record comedy albums/specials as Mike Lawrence, Morgan Murphy, Dave Anthony, Sean Patton, John Roy, and more have taped in that very space.
On August 2nd at 9PM, the very funny NYC based Max Silvestri will join those ranks by taping his very first comedy album for A Special Thing Records, so don’t miss out. FYI, it’s a free show, but make sure you RSVP to get in.
Moshe Kasher’s comedy special that was initially released on Netflix is now coming out as his second comedy album and we’d hope that you’re well acquainted enough with his insightful, poignant, unflinchingly honest, and, of course, hysterical comedy that you’d go and pick it up. It’s even getting a physical CD release, so you can actually go physically pick it up, which we recommend.

The incredibly funny Sean Conroy who we hope you would know from his stand-up, the Long Shot Podcast or the Flabbergast Podcast, or being one of the original standing members of ASSSSCAT has just released his first stand up comedy album, Pleasure Is My Business. After writing jokes in the sky, rewriting greeting cards, and posting up sassy traffic signs, Kurt Braunohler is doing something a little more conventional comedically in releasing his first comedy album entitled “How Do I Land?”. If you’ve seen Kurt do stand-up over the last year throughout the US, you know that Braunohler is hilarious when pulling all those big, funny, absurdist performance art pranks, but he is also hilarious when just talking into a microphone.

Jerry Rocha has taken quite the road leading up to this very first comedy album from being a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing years ago in his first nationally televised appearance (and several years of honing his comedy before that of course) all the way to know and we’re excited to see that “Take That, Real Dad” from Stand Up! Records finally put Rocha’s delightfully gritty stand up on record for all to hear.
