cat video, comedy sketch, human phone

allenstricklandwilliams:

This is a very dumb sketch that I made with Dave Ross and Jake Weisman. Enjoy.

In the new comedy concert film, “Tell Your Friends”, Reggie Watts says that he often thinks that things are going well comedy wise when people comment, “that’s so stupid…” while laughing.  I think this sketch speaks to that very dynamic.

vonswank:

This was the moment Eric Appel looked at his phone and realized Osama Bin Laden was dead last night. Sarah Silverman was just about to go on in front of an audience who had not been exposed to the media yet because they were in a marathon comedy show. It took them a while to realize it wasn’t a bit.

Four shot by Robyn Von Swank.

Where I wish I was when last night’s moment in history happened…

Eli, not Elijah/Elias: Episode 42: Annie Cruz & Abbey Londer

eliolsberg:

Episode 42: Annie Cruz & Abbey Londer

This week, we are joined by Annie Cruz and Abbey Londer. Annie reveals the connection between being a Scorpio and sex addiction, Abbey talks about porn in a neon orange box, and Eli & Jake try very hard to keep their banter in check. The bells & whistles come…

OK, the sex stuff weirds me out a little, but there are enough hilarious people on the Morning After to make up for it.

HOW DID THIS GET MADE – Episode #9 – FAST 5 w/ Guest ADAM SCOTT

This movie is awesome, it makes no fucking sense, and I can’t wait to see it again.

  • Why do all the women look alike?
  • How many shots of of the Jesus Statue in Rio is too Much?
  • Are the Heroes Good Guys or just Vicious Killers
  • Why is The Rock so Sweaty?

LISTEN NOW

Of this series, Fast Five probably offers the least mystery as to why it got made.

High Noon in the Garden of Good & Evil: “Why Aren’t Gays Funny?”

jamesadomian:

So asks the title of this searing exposé from N.Y. culture blog The Awl, which I read tonight after performing standup at a gay bar here in L.A. Maybe I’m not the right guy to answer that question, but perhaps I can ask a better one: why aren’t media gatekeepers like Choire Sicha aware of what’s…

I was thinking of writing a response to this article, but the hilarious comedian James Adomian took care of that… well said.
