Now with Parker Posey, Comedy Central Pilot ‘Crazy House’ Might Have The Best Cast This Pilot Season

Parker Posey joins Nick Turner, Whitmer Thomas, Johnny Pemberton, Demorge Brown, Erik Charles Nielsen, Kate Berlant, Eugene Mirman, Big Jay Oakerson, Lindsay Ames, and Joe Urla in making for one of the most intriguing casts this pilot season in Comedy Central’s Crazy House from Nick Turner and Lee Rubenstein. 

Just on the notion that these people need to be on TV more, especially together, this should get a greenlight.

The Alternate Version Anchorman 2 with 763 New Jokes Hit Theaters Next Week

Leading up to the initial release of Anchorman 2, there was talk of an alternate version which including so many off the cuff, improvised, and riffed scenes that had to be trimmed from the movie for running time. 

Well, that alternate version is having a limited run in theaters starting next week. We wonder if that means that there won’t be any deleted scenes on the DVD?

Our first Night Cap comedy show is tonight at Goorin Bros. Melrose (7627 Melrose to be exact) and it just got a nice write-up in the LA Weekly in case you needed more encouragement.

Also, the great Joe DeRosa will be joining us too in addition to the already fantastic line-up of Maria Bamford, Baron Vaughn, Margot Leitman, and Andy Peters (as well as some dude who works here at The Comedy Bureau)

Warner Bros Sets ‘Lego Movie’ Sequel For May 2017

The Lego Movie has hit that rare intersection of being family friendly, a box office success, and well received by critics, so it’s expected that news of a sequel would come. Let’s hope that Phil Lord and Chris Miller will still be heavily involved. 

So we guest we’ll all have the song Everything Is Awesome stuck in our heads until the sequel three years from now.
