It has been four years since Robin Williams, a legend not just in comedy, but entertainment as a whole, has sadly left us all when committing suicide in his home.

Robin’s career in comedy, TV, and movies was so vast that there are undoubtedly multiple generations that primarily know him from his stand-up or Good Will Hunting or Mork and Mindy, etc. In any case, he left an unmistakable mark on pop culture and was a force to be reckoned with on stage and screen.

Marina Zenovich’s upcoming documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind will attempt to present the man behind the legend with interviews from the likes of Steve Martin, Billy Crystal, Williams’ family, and more. From what we can tell, you might get a little choked up.

See a bit of it for yourself in the trailer, then look for Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind to premiere on HBO on Friday, July 13th.

A tunnel just North of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco has not only been renamed in honor of the beloved comedian Robin Williams, but has a delightful rainbow painted in the arch at the entrance of the tunnel.

This seems fitting for the joy and color that he brought into people’s lives as well as Robin being a way to places beyond rainbows.

There are few guests on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee that go as far back with Jerry as Garry Shandling.

Pretty much every step of each their comedy careers was in sync from playing The Comedy Store to their own hit sitcoms. Thus, making a drive and a stroll down memory lane was pretty fantastic. This is actually one of the best episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Watch it all here.

“Absolutely Anything” Might Be The Last Film with Robin Williams

When Robin Williams tragically passed away earlier this year, he had already put in his work for several projects that were to be released at a later date.

One of those films was Merry Friggin’ Christmas, but it turns out, apparently, that the last role Williams took on before he passed was voicing a dog in the upcoming film “Absolutely Anything” from Monty Python’s Terry Jones.

While Orson Welles’ voice was oddly lent right before he died to the transforming planet Omicron in the animated Transformers movie, Robin Williams voicing a dog in a comedy seems much more fitting and will definitely be a thing to watch for when Absolutely Anything hits theaters.

Along with the announcing of the Emmy winners last night, The Primetime Emmys telecast had none other than Billy Crystal honor one of the now, late greats, Robin Williams and Weird Al Yankovic, who is continuing to have a banner year, add his own lyrics to the theme songs of Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Homeland, Scandal, and Modern Family.

It’s a good thing that these Emmys didn’t air on the same night as the MTV VMAs so we didn’t have to flip channels between this and Beyonce.
