Moses Storm’s “Modern Millennial” Is Now on a Boat

(via LA Weekly)

The wonderful live performance art installation, Modern Millennial, that Moses Storm put on a couple of months ago had to unfortunately leave the space that was deep in a sketchy part of the Fashion District in downtown LA due to funding as well as an altercation with the building manager.

Fortunately, Storm has since relocated Modern Millennial to a boat that docks at King Harbor in Redondo Beach. This could potentially be an even more immersive experience than Storm has previously put on since it’s on a boat.

In any case, you should go check it out (according to LA Weekly, the boat docks twice a day) and hope that more art installations had as much fun as Storm does.

Help Keep Moses Storm’s Modern Millennial Comedy Performance Art Installation Going

The month that Moses Storm had set out to live and breathe in his performance art installation entitled Modern Millennial is almost coming to a close. We got a chance to visit and it does not disappoint in being the wonderfully and comedically self-aware contemporary art exhibit that is lacking in nearly every contemporary art gallery around.

It’s also a great, funny distillation and examination of the idea of being that older generations refer to in disgust as “millennial”.

More people definitely should get a chance to check Modern Millennial out and that’s only going to happen if Moses’ Kickstarter for $500 gets funded by 10PM tomorrow. He’s at $160 as of this post being written.

Please keep #ModernMillennial alive here.

Remember when we posted about Moses Storm raising money for a live performance art installation called “Modern Millennial” where he would live a la “millennial” for a extended period of time?

Well, he raised the money and is really doing this.

Today, as you can see in the picture above, #Modern Millennial is now open to the public. Here’s the instructions to go see it at 931 E. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA:

Hopefully, you’ve seen the comedic brilliance of Moses Storm throwing a birthday party at a Chili’s located inside the LAX airport.

After that, we also hope that you’d be ready for Moses’ next “piece” which will be an a “live performance art installation” wherein he’ll showcase the modern millennial in every facet that he possibly can. You know the millennial generation that everyone makes fun of? Storm wants to defend that, we guess.

There’s a Kickstarter for this project and if you donate enough, you could even be part of it and hopefully have ballet dancers just do stuff around you.

We really don’t know why you would need more explanation that comedian Moses Storm attempted to throw his own birthday party at a Chili’s located at The Los Angeles International Airport in order to watch the hysterical video of him doing so.

However, you should note that he really did buy a non-refundable boarding pass for both himself and his camera man.

Now, watch and enjoy over and over again.
