If you want a way to support people in need AND also have a great time watching Jude Tedmori put himself through something that no one would ever ask him to do, you should get in on this stunt of running in what should be one of LA’s hottest days this year.

Basically, you can donate money for Hurricane Harvey Relief at various levels and, as you can see above, get anything from frying an egg on Jude’s head to a pie in the face to having “Jude moonwalk the rest of the run”.

Get in on this ASAP here as Jude will be running in just a couple of hours of this post being written.

Oh yeah, we should say please follow everything Jude does including Jude News and Alex & Jude

On Sunday nights, there’s a good chance you might find us at Bigfoot Lodge East for our last stop of the evening, Babe Island.

Tonight, there unfortunately will be no Babe Island at said Bigfoot Lodge as ASW, Androsky, Gborie, and Fritz are moving their show one neighborhood over to Bar Angeles (AKA The Elliott Smith Bar at 4330 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA) two weeks from now on Sunday, September 10th.

Per usual, they stacked the line-up with LA favorites: Jon Daly, Alex & Jude, Richard Bain, Billy Bonnell, and Amy Silverberg.

Except for the location change, it should be business as usual with the show starting around 10PM and there being no cover or minimum.

Get more details here.

One of the best sketch shows in town, The Wheel Show, is celebrating a three year anniversary. They feature stand-ups and music guests as well, but their bits, sketches, and videos are a wondrous kind of silly.

For this 3 year milestone, voice acting legend Maurice LeMarche and the amazing Debra DiGiovanni will be joining in as their special guests.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Get advanced tickets here.

Jude Tedmori Is Launching His Own Weekly “Jude News” on Facebook Live Starting Right Now

One of our favorite sketch writer/performesr in town Jude Tedmori (It’s the Jude from the amazing sketch duo Alex & Jude) is coming up with his own “No Spin Zone” (that’s also doubles as a “No Sexual Harassment Zone”) with a weekly news show streamed on Facebook Live.

As you can see on the sign, it’s going to start at 1:45PM today (i.e. right now).

Before 2017 rolls in for America, please enjoy, thanks to AOK, a slightly more realistic depiction of what would take if the beloved Power Rangers of your childhood did as much as damage as they were shown to do.

For some reason, even though it’s not 2017 yet, this seems to capture the spirit of 2017.

Watch it here.

Alex Hanpeter and Jude Tedmori have a residency at The Virgil that follows Hot Tub starting next week. We’re sure it’ll be equal parts silly, daring, edgy, and out right absurd.

Best of all, it’s free to attend. More details here.
