Don’t even bother thinking of an answer and just watch the season (and maybe series?) finale of Great Minds with Dan Harmon here.

If you’ve been watching Great Minds with Dan Harmon on History channel’s Night Class, you’ve might have noticed that the relationship between Dan and Spencer Crittenden, who is solely responsible for the time travel that makes possible, is tenuous at best.

Luckily, their latest guest is none other than the legendary psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, as played by Nick Kroll who gets to analyze their relationship, albeit in a very Freudian, psychosexual manner.

See if Kroll’s Freud is able to fix their relationship all the way in 2016.

In an attempt to be more diverse, Great Minds with Dan Harmon on History channel’s Night Class ended up with infamous dictator Idi Amin (as played by Ron Funches) as a guest.

Well, Idi started as a guest and sort of hijacked the show as dictator are wont to do when on a TV show.

Thomas Middleditch, who just happens to be a member of The Improvised Shakespeare Company, made for a great William Shakespeare on last night’s episode of Great Minds with Dan Harmon.

Unfortunately, for Harmon, Shakespeare and him didn’t quite get along as well as he had hoped especially for William’s take on modern movies and TV. They, in fact, get into a shouting match hurling insults from across the centuries at each other.

Enjoy it all here.

The History channel’s Night Class looks like it’s off to a pretty great start.

One of the series within the show is Great Minds with Dan Harmon and the first episode takes wondrous comedic license with an actualized Ludwig van Beethoven as played by Jack Black being brought to the present day. Though probably not the way that many imagine Beethoven might be in real life, it’s still a pretty sweet version the classical legend.

Watch the first Great Minds with Dan Harmon here.

Looks like that Adult Swim model is more popular than ever.

Looking to expand into more comedy-centric or comedy-adjacent programming, The History channel is adding more programming on top of Join or Die with Craig Ferguson.

Night Class will be a late night block, not unlike Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. The block will include Great Minds with Dan Harmon (Dan travels in a time machine to visit history’s greatest minds as played by Jack Black, Aubrey Plaza, Paul F. Tompkins, Thomas Middleditch, Sarah Silverman, and more), Crossroads of History (Elizabeth Shapiro highlights some of the more unbelievable, less talked about moments in history featuring Jack McBrayer, Wayne Knight, Lloyd Ahlquist, and more), and How to Lose the Presidency (a panel revisits how certain candidates committed campaign suicide).

We’ll all actually get to see how Night Class feels next week when it premieres Feb. 25th at 11:30PM.
