Bill Burr will officially get to continue to curse as patriarch of a cartoon family set in the 70s for a third season and we’re totally on board for that.
Though you might be still working through the last 5 series/special that Netflix dropped (not to mention what else you might be watching on another streaming service), you’ve got a fresh batch with season 2 of Bill Burr’s F Is For Family ready and waiting for you when you’re ready.
Also, take a moment to notice that, in addition to this being an era of peak TV, animated series targeted at adults (including Animals, BoJack Horseman, F Is For Family, etc.) are flourishing more now than ever.
Bill Burr’s F Is For Family is coming back for its second season in just over a week on Tuesday, May 30th.
There’s a lot of surprises in store, as hinted at in this NSFW trailer for the new season. Whether they’re pleasant or shocking is something we’ll leave to you to decide.
Bill Burr’s suspicions that his darkly comedic stories from his childhood would be better served in an animated series seem to be well founded.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone now that Netflix is continuing the stable of critically acclaimed comedy they’ve got going.
Still, Bill Burr’s animated series F Is For Family getting a second season is something to celebrate with a plethora of expletives.
At this time, you’ve either seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens or you’re not going to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens for about a week, so you should go watch this.
The long-awaited animated series from Bill Burr, F Is for Family, is now here. Take a journey back to the 70s when Bill grew up and is not sugarcoating it at all. If anything, he’s making any sugar is gone and leaving how screwed up that time really was.
Get into it on Netflix here.
Bill Burr’s upcoming animated Netflix series, F Is for Family, is taking a look at how crazy growing up in the 70s was. As you can guess, Burr had more than a little bit of personal experience in being raised in a sort of crazy household, which inspired parts of the show.
From these stories of Burr’s dad on Conan, you can see that F Is for Family going to be a fun, no-holds-barred sort animated series.
As part of making the rounds to promote his new Netflix series F Is For Family, Bill Burr stopped by The Tonight Show and chatted with Jimmy Fallon while surrounded by a plethora of Christmas paraphernalia.
Of course, Bill Burr couldn’t just let that slide on by and went on his signature hysterical rants.
He also gave some very intriguing backstory as to how his animated series F Is For Family came about, which premieres this Fri. Dec. 18th on Netflix.
Hopefully, Jimmy makes good on his promise of having Bill back on the holidays.
The sitcoms of the 70s had much more censors to deal with that we do today. Thus, the more accurate portrayals of dysfunctional sitcom families that we get on television today really wouldn’t have happened back then.
That’s where Bill Burr’s animated Netflix series F is For Family comes in as an animated version of what a family of four at odds with each other in 1973 was like. From the looks of this trailer, Bill is going to show 1973 how it really was, no matter how misguided it may have been.
F is for Family starts streaming on Netflix on Dec. 18th.
A week before Christmas, all of us with access to Netflix will get an early holiday present in the form of an animated comedy series from Bill Burr.
His series F is for Family is coming out on Dec. 18th on Netflix and you can get a small glimpse into family sitcom that probably isn’t meant as family friendly in this brief teaser.

While the label of being the next Louis C.K. has been put on Bill Burr from time to time, Burr has insisted that, as nice as that is, he’s not C.K.
In the sense that he’s expanding from being one of the most beloved stand-ups currently working today to creating and starring in shows, Burr is certainly moving in the same direction that C.K. has and we have no doubt he’s going to be great at it.
He already has a pilot ordered by FX, Pariah, and now, Bill has just scored a series order from Netflix for an animated 70s family comedy he co-created with The Simpsons’ Mike Price that will be titled F Is For Family. Burr will also be voicing the head of the family along with a great cast of Laura Dern and Justin Long.
In case it isn’t clear, we love everything about this.
