The big target of Last Week Tonight was the rampant and horrifying nature of online harassment of women from doxxing to outright death and rape threats to revenge porn.

Per usual, Oliver managed to wrap it up with great jokes and a clever thing they shot, which, for this week, is an update of the original AOL ad from 2015′s perspective with the talents of Rob Huebel and Colin Hanks.

Robert Smigel, his hand, and his famous/infamous dog hand puppet Triumph The Insult Comic Dog went on their famous roast sprees for the brand new season of AOL Originals’ Park Bench with Steve Buscemi.

Rather than just enjoy a love day in a park on a park bench and wax poetic, Buscemi and his friends and family each get their turn to get burned by one of the best in the business.

Watch it here.

James Franco’s Weirdo Mash-Up Series “Making a Scene” Is Getting a Second Season at AOL

We’re hoping that they’ll get weirder.

Amidst the dozens of things that James Franco juggles, his Making a Scene web series on AOL was one of the stranger, funnier things that Franco’s done. Genres, famous movies, characters, etc. were all mashed up to produce a scene with Batman and Beetlejuice or the diner scene from When Harry Met Sally except that Harry is meeting is Harry.

For the second season, fans will get to submit their favorite scenes from TV shows and they’ll go mashing up from there.

Something in the neighborhood of Breaking Bad and Arrested Development would definitely be fun to see.

James Franco’s “Making a Scene” on AOL Mashes Up “When Harry Met Sally” with “When Harry Met Sally”

Spinning a wheel of famous movie scenes twice led James Franco and company to mash up scenes for their AOL web series Making a Scene.

Not one to deviate from the rules, they got the fake orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally twice and went with that.

The result? A bizarre alternate universe wonder that they come up with called When Harry Met Harry. Please enjoy here.

James Franco’s “Making a Scene” Mashes Up Batman and Beetlejuice

You could have a game show style wheel to pick one of the multitude of different things that James Franco does, but, in AOL’s case, he’s just getting a random classic scene from the cinematic canon from the same style of wheel and mashing it up with a genre or another classic film scene.

It’s called “Making a Scene” and it’s the reason that this pretty great, weird, mash up between Batman and Beetlejuice now exists.

3) Humblebrag’s monthly power list is out on Grantland!

4) The Comic’s Comic pointed out yet another random joke stealing accusation today. Hey people excited to be whistleblowers only for the sake of being a whistleblower, realize that there are plenty of incredibly creative and imaginative people not just in comedy, but the entirety of the entertainment industry, and that the possibility of someone coming up with very similar to what someone else came up with is very likely.  In fact, it happens every single day.

If I had a nickel for every time I nearly had an aneurism when I read a log line for movie that just sold that’s basically what I’ve spend the better part of a year writing or hearing a similar joke that’s on an extremely esoteric topic to one that I have by a much more famous comedian than me, well, I would never ever work again.  There’s a reason several intellectual property cases get thrown out every year because they are baseless and more often than not, the accusers care less about what they’re creating and more about the end result of trying to get rich quick.

Our advice: Think very carefully before you throw around the label of a “joke thief” around because it’s very hard to get rid of even if has no foundation in fact.

5) Watch Current TV’s Erin Gibson and Bryan Safi’s hilarious take on the Bachmann’s take on homosexuality.

Michele and Marcus Bachmann on Homosexuality – watch more funny videos

6) Kurt Braunohler’s World Wide of Animals: Seahorses.  The funniest show about animal facts that did absolutely no fact checking whatsoever.

17) Was asked if I was human last night because of constantly overloading my plate with work by somehow finishing it?  To be honest, I had a moment of doubt of whether I was indeed human or not.  Even at this moment, there is a twinge of uncertainty only dismissed by the fact that it’s almost 1PM when I posting the Morning Debriefing.
