WTF with Marc Maron

Pretty swell, right?

Now, you can go for the whole weekend for $119 or $29 for just Friday, $59 for Saturday, and $49 for Sunday.

If that’s a little steep or you’re unable to make it to Beverly Hills, there’s a livestream of all the podcast tapings for just $25. Along with livestream access, you’ll have access to an archive for a month after to watch whatever you might have missed.

You don’t even have to pause whatever podcast you’re listening to right at this moment to go get your tickets.

Rather than just talks, this will be walks and talks with Marc Maron.

As part of Vice’s new VICE TV, Marc will be doing the sort of intimate interviewing that has put him at the forefront of podcasting for a new show called “VICE Portraits”.

According to an e-mail to his fans, he’ll be chatting with guests to and fro to a place that may be relevant or challenging to that guest.

Already, we can imagine something like an anything goes chat with Dave Anthony in something that’s enclosed and close quarters perhaps like a submarine.

“Apparently”, Nate Fernald Was “Cut Out” of What Should Be Called “WTF with Marc Maron and Nate Fernald”

As it “turns out”, the very funny Nate Fernald has been “co-hosting”, then subsequently “cut out” of every episode of WTF with Marc Maron.

Even if you’re a longtime listener to WTF, you might not even be aware that Marc and a guest are “ignoring” a co-host, Nate Fernald, the whole time.

Fernald was gracious enough to dig up an unedited episode featuring guest Chris D’Elia and none of Nate being cut out. Listen here.

zachdionne:

I wrote about the WTF with Marc Maron podcast for GQ’s comedy issue in July. It ended up as an iPad-only bonus and I’ve had the PDF forever but am just now remembering to share it with you guys. I was so thankful to have the opportunity to write this (what up, master editress Lauren Bans!) and even more so to be able to hand a printout of the piece to Maron in person at his last Bell House gig in Brooklyn. Marc more openly gracious than I had any right to expect.

Hope you dig the piece. Maybe clicking it will make it bigger/more readable? [Edit: No, it won’t. Boo.]
