Michael Ian Black and Missi Pyle Starring in Erotic Fan Fiction Comedy “Slash”

(via Deadline)

Already, we have a feeling that this has the potential to to be a gem of a sex comedy on the film festival circuit.

In of itself, slash fiction/erotic fan fiction can be both pretty funny and pretty graphic. Just check out Bryan Cook’s Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction if you’re skeptical.

So, while The Overnight is getting lauded as a “darling of a sex comedy”, a feature focusing on lurid fan fic written by teens with Michael Ian Black, Missi Pyle, Matt Peters, and Jessie Ennis in the cast should be ripe for that label when it starts screening around the way.

Clay Liford’s Slash is currently in production, but we hope to see it as soon as we can.

One of our favorite shows live shows to see, Bryan Cook‘s Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, is making a debut as a podcast on the Nerdist Podcast Network. The whole world can finally delve into the hysterical and erotic fictionalized stories of comedians and their favorite (or audience chosen) pop culture icons like Jim Hamilton and La Bamba telling the story of how Charlie Brown became a man.

Also on this first episode that goes up Sat. Jun. 8th is Jon Daly, Matt Kirshen, Erin Gibson, Alice Wetterlund, and more. Be sure to listen/subscribe then as hopefully you’ll won’t be at work since CEFF is NSFW.
