Yesterday, there was a panel for Community at Comic Con and series creator Dan Harmon remarked that the return of the show would probably come after Christmas at their new home at Yahoo.
It might be a few months to wait, but we have a feeling that it will be worth given the fact that Harmon isn’t necessarily bound by 22 min. running time for a half hour sitcom or as stringent language/content restrictions.
Sony Wants There to Be a ‘Community’ Movie
Having pulled off getting a sixth season for Community right before the contract expiration deadline for the cast, Sony TV is aiming to make a movie and not be the ones to deny the #sixseasonsandamovie movement.
The talks are preliminary, but Community keeps defying the odds that, at this point, they could just make a movie about how the show made it this far.

There’s a deadline at the end of this month for the contract expirations of the cast of Community. Knowing that Sony TV is still gunning to keep them around at some sort of online streaming service/content provider. Hulu reportedly isn’t going to be that home, but they say they have another place that they’re going for.
So, #sixseasonsandamovie is still alive?
