Whether you know it or not, you’ve probably enjoyed the directorial efforts of Brent Weinbach before. If you’ve seen Gangsta Hotline or Busdriver’s brand new music video, then you most certainly have enjoyed Weinbach’s touch as a director.

The great multi-hyphenate funny person Andre Hyland is on his way to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival with a short film that, as he reveals in this interview, was just shot in a day. Knowing Andre, that’s probably all he needed. 

Andre is hilarious in such a uniquely silly way (just check his character Jesse Miller out) that we’re thrilled gets to be shared in Park City, UT. Watch him discuss his short film Funnel that was selected at the link.

There are so many film festivals to submit nowadays. At the very least, this one has a short form comedy category and, if you’re in LA, in a very nice place where you won’t have to get a hotel if your film is selected and want to go.
