Leslie Knope and Ron Swans–, Er, Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman Will Be Hosting a Competitive Crafts Show on NBC

Sure, they’ll be hosting as themselves and not their respective roles on Parks and Recreation.

That being said, The Handmade Project, just sounds like a sequel to the season 4 episode where Leslie and Ron had competing youth programs.

Also, Amy’s Paper Kite Productions will be handling this series, which, in addition to  makes us believe that it’ll be much different from other competitive reality shows.

The Internet loves few people quite like it loves Nick Offerman making this a no brainer.

The Webby Awards have found their latest host for their ceremonies this year, Nick Offerman. Beloved for being Ron Swanson and Ron Swanson-esque outside of Parks and Recreation, Offerman could be a perfect host for the event.

You can see Nick Offerman preside over The Webby Awards on Tuesday, May 17th. We’re sure he and his immaculate facial hair will be more than ready for the affair.

Right after the finale of Parks and Recreation aired last night, the entire cast as well as co-creator Mike Schur (and a special guest that came to “Jamm” things up) appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to relive all the memories.

Of course, the goodbye, perhaps the last time all of them will be in a room together went as memorable and as in the spirit-of-Parks-and-Rec as it could be.

There was a barely rehearsed song for Seth Meyers.

There were toasts from one cast member to another one picked from a hat.

There was even another song that was supposed to be a final rendetion of “Bye, Bye Li’l Sebastian”, but Jim O’Heir, Aubrey Plaza, and Jon Glaser had other plans.

Last night’s Parks and Recreation furthered their look into the future of Pawnee and their storied Parks department with a series of ads.

Included are TV spots for such Pawnee landmarks as Wamapoke Casino and Paunch Burger as well as some for new business ventures including Ron Swanson’s Very Good Building and Development Company and Verizon Chipotle Exxon.

We can’t speak for the rest of the world, but it looks like Pawnee is doing just fine in 2017.

The lines between Nick Offerman and, Ron Swanson, his iconic character on Parks and Recreation very often blur.

A perfect example is this ad for Lagavulin Scotch, the preferred scotch of Ron Swanson as well as the distillery where Offerman seems to be investing his time after Parks and Recreation by spreading the word, the Offerman/Swanson way, about the fine spirit.
