Through the power of the Internet, YouTube will be hosting a live improv streamed online on Aug. 1st and Aug. 2nd from Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles.

Led by Lloyd Ahlquist of Epic Rap Battles of History, suggestions will be given online and improvisers from around the world will do short from improv games that will be later cut up into a web series.

With the aid of the Internet, we wonder if people will be able to give better suggestions than “your mom”.

As part of their reunion shows at London’s O2 Arena, Monty Python has gotten another reminder of their legacy as a 50 ft. dead parrot sculpture now resides Potters Field Park in London in reference to their dead parrot sketch.

Even if you aren’t familiar with the sketch, it’s pretty great to walk by a gigantic parrot in riga mortis.

Monty Python Live Show to Air on Sundance Channel

If you can’t make it to the sold out shows at the O2 Arena or to a participating movie theater here in the U.S. for Monty Python’s live reunion, then worry not as the Sundance Channel has just acquired rights for it to premiere on their network.

Still, if you can catch the shows live or in live broadcast, you should definitely go do that and then rewatch it when it comes on Sundance.

Monty Python Reunion Show To Have Big Dance Numbers and Will Be a “Little Bit Ruder”

Some details were released about Monty Python’s upcoming run at the O2 Arena in London. There will be some of your favorite sketches, but there will also be a large number of dancers dancing in big music numbers and have several costume changes.

It would be hard to pull off otherwise, but Monty Python is indeed going to go bigger as well as a little ruder, whatever that ends up meaning.

We’ll have to wait until next month to find out.

There’s a Sundance Film Festival in London Featuring Many of The Great Indie Comedies From U.S. Sundance

Since 2012, there has been a Sundance Film Festival in London that brings many of the films discovered in Park City, UT at the flagship Sundance Film Festival.

As there is a lack of exposure of our own indie films in general here in the States, there’s definitely a lack of exposure over in the U.K. That’s why, if you’re in London are going to be there in late April, maybe you can check out, catch, discover the likes of David Cross’ Hits, Frank with Michael Fassbender, They Came Together with Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler, Obvious Child with Jenny Slate, The Trip to Italy with Steve Coogan and Michael Winterbottom, and plenty of other indie comedies that made their U.S. festival debut earlier this year in Jan.

As We Hoped, Monty Python Extends Run of Reunion Stage Show

We’re guessing that Monty Python found out that people still want so badly to see them.

They’ll be doing a week of shows and possibly more around the world as tickets sold out in probably less time than it takes to realize you set an alarm to buy Monty Python tickets.

It’s always fascinating to see when comedians who base much of their act on diction and delivery as joke craftsmen go up on Set List: The Improvised Stand Up Show with no hours of stage time to hammer out their jokes per their process.

It’s especially fascinating when they can still pull off their comedic stylings in that settings just like Jimmy Carr did at the Soho Theatre with topics like adorable jihad. Watch the clip here.

Eddie Izzard To Make Run for Mayor of London in 2020

Not only is Eddie Izzard one of comedy’s most highly regarded performers, but he has been a noted activist, once completing 43 marathons in 51 days. That’s all on top of being an icon for having performed in high heels and a dress as a man.

In short, he may just pull running for Mayor of London off in a few years. If he does though, we’d hope that he still remains a funny public persona instead of staying within in government chambers like Senator Al Franken.

‘Book of Mormon’ Sets Ticket Sales Record in Beginning of Run in London.

International audiences agree that a musical satirizing Mormonism by the creators of South Park is something definitely worth seeing. We can’t wait to see the possible movie adaptation from Matt and Trey.

Recently: A significant portion of Muslims claimed that the logo for the upcoming London 2012 Olympics is racist.  If you take a look at and analyze the actual logo, there’s nothing really racist about it.  If you need a refresher course, take notes from Kyle Kinane and how he imagines Trader Joe of Trader Joe’s promotes his “ethnic” alter egos.
