Boy oh boy, we’ve (yes, we, The Comedy Bureau, are putting on a show) got a showcase of some of our “most wanted” (favorite) stand-up comedians in town that you need to be on the look out for.

Wednesday, July 26th at 8PM at The Comedy Central Stage.

Don’t be late.

Again, it’s free, but you have to RSVP here or at 323 960 5519.

The show that has comedians following the most heart wrenching videos on the Internet is back.

Follow That! really does play a video that is almost perfectly designed to make you cry and has stand-up comedians see what they can do immediately afterwards.

It may sound cruel and unusual, but, as far as we have seen thus far, it has been a hell of a good time.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at door. Get your advance tickets here.

Basically, Follow That! pits comedians into having to follow the screening of heart wrenching, highly emotional videos. The emotional roller coaster that you go on combined with the inevitable curiosity that you’ll have to see what a comic will do after seeing a tearjerker is indeed pretty great.

The next edition of Follow That! is set for the end of this month and you can (and should) get your tickets here.

Follow That! pits comedians to the challenge of following a very emotional video being shown to the audience (i.e. troops coming home to the surprise of their family). Having any sort of very dramatic pause at a comedy show can prove very difficult, but the line-up with Chris Fairbanks, Nikki Glaser, Dan St. Germain, Nicole Byer, and Jon Huck for this show is pretty great. In any case, our curiosity is peaked as to see what might happen.

Tickets for Follow That! are $8 online and $10 at the door. You can (and should) tickets online here.
