Going Deep with David Rees’ latest topic that most of us take for granted is signatures, the thing that most of us scribble, rather than sign, more and more as the years pass by.

David is joined by Paul F. Tompkins who perfectly hits the point home of the weight that your signature could carry, even if you’re pulling a goof of some sort.

Watch the clip here.

Possibly one of the most entertaining educational series ever is Going Deep with David Rees. Originally on Nat Geo, it has now relocated to the Esquire Network for a second season that premieres on Nov. 11th at 10PM.

Here’s a trailer that promises more of Rees’ great, unconventional angle on learning about stuff.

To get the word out, Rees has opted to go “analog” (i.e. old school) with his social media promotion is going across the country posting flyers. Although, it would seem he’ll be documenting the whole thing and then putting videos up on YouTube as well as encouraging people to download the flyer and post it around their town. That’s why it’s called the Rolling Deep Analog Social Media Tour.

All this has the makings of another fantastic season as far as we can tell, which is why we’ll remind you to get find Esquire on your TV and tune in on Nov. 11th.

SAG-AFTRA Puts “Comedians of L.A.” and “Living With Funny” on ‘Do Not Work’ List

Another couple of comedy reality series, like Last Comic Standing on NBC and Laughs on Fox,  are clashing with unions yet again.

SAG-AFTRA has found that upcoming series Esquire Network’s Comedians of L.A. and Oxygen’s Living With Funny are not up to meet SAG-AFTRA’s minimum basic agreement and thus have barred SAG-AFTRA members from working on either show.

Why this is a recurring problem with comedy reality series might have something to do with some production companies trying to pinch every penny possible when making these types of shows. While comedy can certainly be done on the cheap, in many situations, putting more into the budget could go a long way for series that’s already entering the crowded fields of comedy and reality.

Hopefully, a resolution can come soon and this won’t continue as a trend.

Honestly, we’re just happy to hear that Jay Larson and Sean Patton will be on TV and will also be on TV together.

It’s just the frosting on this cake that two of the funniest stand up comedians working right now that we should all know will be hanging out at America’s best bars.
