Over 13 years, Ron Lynch has faithfully kept one of the best comedy variety shows featuring stand-up, sketch, characters, clowns, magic, bands, carnies, and other weirdos in LA, The Tomorrow Show, going every Saturday night at midnight.

Well, the time for their swan song has unfortunately come, but what a swan song it will be.

The very last Tomorrow! with Ron Lynch will be this Saturday at midnight full of their main players, best and brightest, all time favorites, old friends, comedy legends, etc.

Do not miss out. Please get your tickets here.

Legendary Comedian Emo Philips Gets a Beautiful, Eponymous Song from Henning Ohlenbusch

Emo Philips, without question, is one of the best comedians of all time and is more than deserving of having a song written about him.

MA based musician Henning Ohlenbusch decided to write a song honoring the singular Philips and aimed towards something that was less about being funny and more honoring the spirit of Emo and his facial expressions.

The result is this beautiful song “Emo Philips”. You can get/stream it on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Spotify as well.

If you’re wondering what makes Emo earn his place amongst the comedy greats, may we point you to one of his best jokes (sometimes regarded as one of the funniest jokes of all time) about talking to a jumper on The Golden Gate Bridge.

(via Deadline)

You’ll be treated to the stand-up of Cameron Esposito, Eugene Mirman, Janeane Garofalo, Beth Stelling, Aparna Nancherla, Kurt Metzger, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Liza Treyger, the Lucas Brothers, Byron Bowers, Sean Patton, Sam Morril, James Davis, Ian Abramson, Sean Donnelly, Thomas Dale, Ahmed Bharoocha and Emo Philips.

Part of a great comedy cultural exchange between the U.S. and Canada comes around during the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival when JFL also shoots their stand-up showcase series, Funny as Hell.

As past episodes have been streamed plenty on Seeso, Seeso has opted to make the series more known in the States, especially because of its heavy use of U.S. talent, to order a sixth season that’ll offered on NBC’s comedy streaming service.

There will be more names that’ll be added to the series during the festival, but that line-up alone is reason enough to go watch it.

Watch “The Roast of Ron Lynch” as a Great Reminder of Traditional Roasts

While the upcoming Roast of Justin Bieber is a night of taking on a highly divisive figure with all the insults and verbal barbs that professional insult and verbal barb makers can muster as physical abuse is illegal, there was a time where roasts were for the ones you love.

The Roast of Ron Lynch wonderfully harkens back to that time.

Ron Lynch is, whether you or Ron knows it or not, an American comedy treasure and, as such, a roast in his honor was held a few weeks back at Trepany House @ The Steve Allen Theater. In attendance was a dais of his friends and contemporaries including Emo Philips, Chuck Sklar, Kevin Kataoka, Brendon Small, Joe Wagner, Katie Crown, The Walsh Brothers, Davey Johnson, and more.

They all took their approach of making fun of Ron and each other, saying something heartfelt, Ron expertly responding, and, as you might imagine made it a night to never forget.

Watch and enjoy a classic roast of a great comedian here.
