Comedy Central Announces Latest Half-Hour Specials from Emmy Blotnick, Tim Dillon, Devin Field, Megan Gailey, Chris Garcia, Langston Kerman, Mike Lawrence, Ryan O’Flanagan, and Sarah Tiana

Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents, the current brand for Comedy Central’s half-hour stand-up comedy specials, has just announced a new line-up featuring 9 comedians that are, in our opinion, solid through and through.

This is just a friendly TCB reminder that you should tune in to watch the one and only Sam Jay (she has been causing a delightful ruckus ever since she set foot in LA) do her very first TV special (or remember to look out for a way to stream it very soon).

Comedy Central Announces 2017 Half Hour Specials Line-Up, To Call It “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents” Instead of “The Half Hour”

Those are the 14 names that will get to do a half hour Comedy Central special that will be now called “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents” later this Fall. If you take a closer look, this might be CC’s best, most diverse half-hour line-up yet (i.e. it’s mostly fantastic comics that aren’t straight white guys)

Kind of harkens back to the days of when Comedy Central had “Comedy Central Presents”, doesn’t it?

The tapings will take place next month, Wednesday, April 19th-Saturday, April 22nd, in New Orleans at The Civic Theatre. You can get free tickets here.
